How about the attempted abduction that occured Nov 18th or perhaps he doesn't consider it an actual attempt?? Tho, I suppose they did since they were looking for the vehilce....

Who knows if this is true, but it sure would give some validity to the babysitter's statement regarding Somer's "disappearing" acts. I can't imagine though, that a cab driver would allow an unaccompanied 5 yr. old to "ride along". All of that makes no sense.

Add: unless of course, this cab driver has continued to "watch" Somer and took the opportunity to abduct her. ??? Good question...

Maybe the cab driver knew Somer and her history of running off, and picked her up to take her home because he didn't want the unthinkable to happen?
It would be interesting if LE could find/interview this person.

Yikes! That reminds me of the Mikelle Biggs case in AZ -- I was at college at ASU at the time when this happend - 1998!!! Disappeared off the face of the planet!!!! Never to be found - outside by the ice cream truck!! There were fliers EVERYWHERE!!!!!

For a group of LE agencies who say that Somer's case is the #1 priority ... they sure are taken their sweet time getting those tests done.

I don't believe it.

I am thinking that since LE has said they won't release evidence, and they have to say something to validate that they are still working hard on the case, a generic statement like "getting tests done" will cover them per the media.

I am very interested in an important statistic that I read: In 74 percent of child homicides, LE knows who the perp is within the first week. It could be anybody. From what I have read, homicide investigation is a real science and these detectives are very good at winnowing out perps...but they have to have the hard evidence to back it up. If they don't - or they get confessions in the wrong way - it won't hold up in court. And Justice means conviction!

I don't know how long ago the Sheriff made that statement but IMO it's time to let it go. If the CCSO isn't able to clear some people by now, they aren't doing a very good job. JMO

But how do we know they haven't cleared people ... the only people they ever mentioned were the RSO's they initially "ruled out". Just because they aren't making it public, doesn't mean it hasn't happened. IMO they are doing a pretty good job handling "leaks".

I have to admit I NEVER knew about all those shortcuts and SCARY paths that connect from the park into Somer neighborhood -- it throws most of my earlier suspicions down the drain -- not closing those off because I find ALOT of contradictory evidence even stated by LE in media. But for now I am gonna explore elsewhere. She WOULD have just as well disappeared into the PARK as into think air with going undetected!!! Have you seen the paths??

They stated they recovered a substancial amount of evidence from the dump and the burnt house on gano. I actually submitted a question back asking -- that they never stated or confirmed this was a crime scene - news people came back with - they didnt but they are using exact terminology o investogators.

I am going to share a strange occurrence with all of you.
I don't believe that (my) dreams are anything significant, and I have not dreamed anything about the case, until last night. I'll see what I can remember, it was strange.

It was played out like a documentary. I saw Somer running after kids (including AT and ST) and trying to play and they were trying to get rid of her.

She got on the swings. They pushed her really, really hard until she fell off. At that point, a voice said "well, if you look at her knees, you can see this happens all of the time" and sure enough her knees were all bloody and skinned. They had run off and I could hear them laughing. I didn't see what happened to her after that.

Next I am hearing a narrarator and seeing flashes of people. It was really fast. The bizarre information was that AT was involved with CPC and it was hidden from the family; CPC was behind AT being cruel to Somer. Mom totally unaware that this was going on. Somer was going to tell, the narrarator said. AT didn't want this to happen. She was protective of her special relationship with CPC. So in essence the two were complicit in trying to hurt Somer because she was going to tell. I was not told what happened, how the murder happened. That was left to figure out.

I know it is really incredibly warped, and I hope I don't get booted off of here for a dream. I am being honest. I never would imagine this myself, and I really don't believe it, to tell the truth. Just sharing.

Yes. They have suspects that look good and then the evidence rules them out and the evidence turns them in another direction. JMO

initial interviews are carefully orchestrated to look "casual" and may be held in the presence of others; then if interested, they get the person away from others in a more 1-1 situation, ask leading questions, have people clarify statements; then if suspected, will interrogate perhaps "down at the station house" in a restricted environment which is conducive to getting information or confessions.

If Gano isn't the crime scene. what possible evidence could they have? The fact that somebody ate Chinese?

This kid lives on Arbor Cirle - well there is a short cut through the park INTO arbor circle -- it is a throughfare pathway - get on google maps and Bing - VERY interesting. So, l have to wonder did she then head back to the park to wait for AC thinking he might come on over - she sees workers at Gano goes over and chit chat - and then who knows RIGHT? If something happend to her there -- they could have easily taken her out of house in a contractor garbage bag thrown into truck - drive decently close and thrown into a commercial dumpster thinking she would never be found.

Also Gano could be a rule out thing -- since Kyle did confirm he spoke with her - for all we know - it could have been neighbor kid who fits into some people hunchs if you call them of the perp - kid, teen, etc. KC - you know who I am talking about? Or I read another poster somewhere mention about the Uncle and his statement to the press - he talks like Susan Smith like she wont be found - yes, I know I going to find the link now my hands are cramping up.
