IDK you would have to check further on W/S sometimes they have sites, thinking of a memorial garden site for Victoria Stafford. If there isn't one, maybe you would like to start one? I know there are many tribute sites out there (facebook has a number of groups), I am glad Eyes you understand that this group is for sleuthing and sleuthing a case means everyone that could be possibly be connected to try to help solve this murder.

EYES 4 CRIME:

Go to home page (WS)
Turn down volume on annoying video
go to the left, under "navigation"
click "Missing"
click "Located! Information and Support"
once you are there, you can find Somer. You can put her name in the link's search engine. Only a few people ever posted there.

When I first saw this feature, I immediately thought of you and a few others here who would want to offer support.

Also, you can go on FB, up to the search engine and type in SOMER RENEE THOMPSON, SOMER THOMPSON, SOMER THOMPSON SUPPORT, etc. and a lot of pages will come up. You can look at them and decide which if any you would want to join. I think the family also has a website, also, if I am not mistaken, where there are a lot of pictures and comments about Somer. Just go to Google or whatever search engine you have and type in "Somer Thompson Support Groups" and you'll probably find a lot of them.

There are still some people in the world who think about her and care. Thank God. Because her story certainly has tapered off.

Good luck, hope this helps.

Personally, I am not willing to go with the assumption they have no witnesses. There maybe some that haven't spoken to the press out of fear or were asked by LE not too KWIM?

Right. I meant witnesses that we or other members of the public know of. Point being, without corroboration they risk the thing being thrown out of court for lack of evidence even if they do have DNA. Sadly we know this has happened before. Oh, the legal system...that's another very scary scenario to think about. Think I will pass tonight.

I thought I hit the "paste" on this, if it plays more than once, sorry.
I think she talks about it on about 2:04 on the video.

http://www.news4jax.com/video/21599954/index.html

You have to go on the link, scroll down to where it says "video". Sorry.

Anchor says at the beginning that police are keeping in touch frequently - even daily - with DT about the investigation.
Anchor says at the end of the video that police have told DT they "don't believe it (the killer) is anyone she knows."

This was after she hired her attorney, who was referred to in earlier video as "liason between DT and LE to make sure that she had access to information."

Look carefully in the video and you will see picture of attorney on the bookshelf. I don't think DT keeps a photo of him in her house, and probably the studio doesn't display pictures of him on their set, either. Just strange, strange, strange.

I don't find the "you are not in trouble" statements by DT and LE hinky at all.

I've seen it in public pleas before where it was thought a child may have just wandered off.

The interview takes place in the attorney's office.

She had one from her home, after that they have been done at his office including the one with J Blaylock.

STRANGE REMARKS:

(btw) THE VIDEO ON THE ABOVE ARTICLE IS NOT OF AN INTERVIEW WITH DT. Don't bother playing it.

“I’m mad that he, it, has three weeks more of life than what my 7-year-old got,” she said.

Thompson said she has been worn down by the daily grind of giving local and national media interviews, though she knows it’s necessary to help generate leads and bring attention to the plight of abused and slain children.

“You’re going to hear me,” she said, “and you’re going to hear me loud.” (Since she has an attorney, she can't help generate leads any more; the plight of abused and slain children will have to suffer without her input).

“I don’t like to go outside because people just stare at me,” she said. “I feel like I’m a circus act.” (But what about the fund-raisers?)

(ABOUT LITTLE ST)
“I don’t even think he comprehends [that] she’s not going to come back,” Thompson said. “He starts saying, 'I just wish that man would let her go.’ ”

LATER EDIT:

On re-reading this, I realize I did not answer your question, Hounds...this doesn't say murder, does it? I got carried away with the other things. This is also a very snarky post. I am trying very very hard not to be sarcastic. I apologize to anyone to whom this gives offense, out of respect to Somer and those who love her.

I read/heard recently that little ST goes around the house saying, "Somer Renee Thompson, Somer Renee Thompson" repeatedly. It is stomach wrenching.

No, but maybe I just need to raise the reward money. $500 cyber dollars for a quote from DT where she speaks of a killer or the person who killed S.
The killer can not first be brought up by someone else. So that she is just answering the question.

As for the monster quote, I figure she mistakenly thinks that someone has tampered with the body after death. That would be a monster wouldn't it.

I understand what you're saying. This would be a first reaction to hearing this. My first reaction was: maybe Somer thinks she is in trouble because she has run off before.

ITT, where could Somer be where she would hear this? Would she be hiding somewhere and watching TV....at a neighbor's house afraid to go home that she'd be in trouble for running off (again)? I thought that by now they had already been searching everywhere. So how could she hear this?

For sure if she was with a perp he wouldn't be letting her watch t.v., or maybe he would. I was troubled by DT's emotional plea to the perp to just drop her off somewhere...I guess that meant drop her off and there will be no police around to arrest you?

I am continually confused by the things she says, honestly.

I was catching up and someone back there (lol) asked if the park across from gano is park where bathroom was searched... yes it is.

Wow! This thread is almost completely stopped now. I guess we have sleuthed everyone we can think of, watched every video over and over, and read every news article. No news from LE...it's hard for me to believe they have gotten no DNA results back yet, but it may be. We don't see DT giving interviews any longer, not since she got the "media lawyer". Wonder why that is. Guess you wouldn't need a media lawyer if you were not going to give any more interviews, huh? I wonder if he advised her to stop talking to the media.

One last thing. Back when we were talking about her calling what S wore a "jumpsuit".
I was trying to call to mind what it might have looked like, picturing something from the '70s, or maybe what a skydiver would wear. And then I thought, HEY, maybe it was a Freudian Slip. Maybe what she was thinking with all that LE around was another kind of jumpsuit, a bright orange one, like the kind that prisoners wear.

I would just like to state that not everyone here agrees that DT is involved. I see a greiving mother. Every little thing she says or does can be interpeted many different ways. <edited> thank-you.

i agree i just don't think she was involved or knows anything about who done it. I feel sorry for her and can't imagine how she feels. If I were her as soon as I could I would take my children and move somewhere so her life can quit being a circus freak show. IMO her and the other children will never begin to heal in that same enviroment.

I've been up kind of late tonight thinking of CG's scratched neck. Now this guy better have a good alibi. I wonder just how closely LE has checked him out.

I am sure that based on the many things DT has said - and so many people blogging and talking about suspicions - he advised her to stop talking to the media. However, I am not so sure he is an entertainment lawyer. Because in that TV appearance I posted, he was specifically introduced as a liason between DT and LE to make sure they gave her information. Now I am wondering if she hired a lawyer based on not being allowed access to the autopsy results or being strongly discouraged when wanting to view Somer's body? Later, his representation is changed to "media attorney".

But here is a lawyer who will either represent her gratis (free) for the publicity or if she has to pay him we know she does have some funds now. Basic point is she did not have a lawyer, now she does. No more interviews now. And it's interesting on how, in the latest news updates, media specifies that LE is keeping in touch with DT frequently, even daily. But it doesn't say how they are keeping in touch, or if it is directly.

Yes, and you have to wonder why. And why there haven't been any more. How could it hurt DT to go on the media and say it's been almost 3 months since my daughter disappeared and was murdered. On behalf of all parents and children everywhere, I would like to say: _____________________ (never forget to say I love you?) whatever. And if you have any leads, please contact the Clay County Sheriff's Office at (phone number) Thanks and God Bless You.
