DT, from what we know from posters on news sites, worked at the OP office that day....this office is between Debarry and the Jr. High, on Kingsley Ave....just a hop skip and jump from Somer's school, and home......Somer left school with her siblings and was last seen at the Gano home around 2:45. The other children arrived home at 3:05 without Somer....SP sent them out to look for her, AT returns in 15 min, he sent her out again to look, before he called DT....she looks for an hour this time....then texts were made back and forth between DT and SP....DT leaves work unannounced....to go look for Somer.....AC gets out of school at 3:45 approx, by the time he gets home, say 30 min, has a drink, snack, complains of having to go find Somer again, I am guessing the time is about4:30.....DT should have already been home by this time since work is like 5 min driving time from the office......Why would AC be already looking at the ball park when DT got off of work....this makes no sense to me......DT states that she got off work, went to the park, and AC had already been searching there....not possible, unless he left school early that day....MO

Has this been determined for sure? I thought nobody new which office she worked at on that particular day. On the MPR she gave the name and address of the Jax office and did not say she was in the OP office that day, so no one is sure that she ever worked in the OP office, are they? Her coming home to have lunch with SP would sure make a lot more sense time wise if she WAS working in the OP office that day. It would also give her a lot more time to be searching for somer before she flagged down the officer than if she was coming from the Jax office.

Something is not right with the time. How long would it take for the other children to walk home from school? Does anyone know? AT last saw somer around 2:45 I think around the intersection of Solomon and Gano and chased her for awhile according to reports, but lost site of her in a crowd of children. From 2:45 (last sighting by AT) and 3:10 (when the other 2 children arrived home without Somer) is 25 minutes. Is that not a long time to have taken for the other 2 kids to get home given the fact that one of them was chasing (running)after another for part of the way? DT said little ST lagged behind to talk to a friend; did AT stop and wait for him? I would assume so if they both got home at 3:10 without Somer. This is a very short time for someone to have snatched Somer in broad daylight with the streets full of children and other parents. It just doesn't make any sense at all either way you look at it. Somer ran, AT chased her, little ST lagged behind, AT and little ST still got home together; Somer disappeared.

I have deduced from the comments on the newspaper article on the child welfare report, that Mom was working at the OP office.

Some office mates are commenting and saying that she worked at OP that day. That's what her friends are saying, I think.

I believe Somer went into or around the house on Gano willingly sadly with someone she trusted.Knew?I believe AT and ST passed the Gano house when Somer was in there.Whatever happened to Somer happened to her apparantly in a very short period of time.

I would actually like to know more about the crew members and who they knew.I would like to know who kyle really is.I would like to know more about the lady who said to check the dumpster at the Gano house and why she suggested for them to check.I would like to know more about the 2 fights little Somer got into.Mainly with the little girl on the way home from school.I would like to know if there was any sexual assault to Somer.I would like to know alot. But they are not saying much.

I believe Kyle is a minor - so he is not going to be able to be sleuthed - it is against TOS to sleuth a minor.

Ok,Hopefully LE is looking into him.I think they are.

Kyle is a minor?
The Kyle that was working at the house that says he saw Somer?

  • #227
I'm not trying to sleuth him, just wondering how we know he is a minor.

ETA: This is the first I've seen that he is.

The mods have decided that it is okay to discuss how Somer was parented.

However, this is not to deteriorate into bashing.

Keep your posts within TOS.

If I may suggest, there are respectful ways to disagree with how DT parented Somer, such as ...

"I wish DT had/had not...."

"I think DT should have/should not have..."

"IMO, it would have been better if....."

Before you hit the "submit" button, ask yourself: "Have I said this in the calmest, most respectful way possible?"

If not, go back and edit.

Thanks,

Hoppy

P.S. I did delete the posts about parenting that were posted after I asked you not to post about it; that's why they are missing.

I went to look for this article and could not find it. I wanted to read the comments. Could you please send a link to the article? I was away when the article first ran, now I would like to read the comments.

I have not heard anything about him except he talked to a reporter and said he saw Somer. I don't think I've seen any info as far as last name.

Again, I do not want to sleuth a minor...but, I'd like to know if we KNOW he is a minor, how we know.

If he's not a minor, he needs to be looked at. IMO

I am wondering why, when even very young children had their last names in news articles along with pictures, that Kyle's last name has never been reported.

Where is the report or source that he is a minor?

Comments under an article should be considered rumor IMO.

I don't think we know if she was in Jax or OP office.

Kyle and who ever was with him and the crew members and who they knew working on renovating the Gano house are my suspects.

Oh really? Thanks, I knew there was some reason he was named in the news only by a first name, but I had not heard he was a minor. I thought he was one of the work crew on the Gano house. That could explain it. On the other hand, other minors have been named in the news by first and last names (i.e. MR, the former baby sitter.)

Maybe the police have him as a suspect.

The woman says that she worked with DT at the office, and it was walking distance from DT's home. She appears to be very protective of DT. Why would she go public and say that if it isn't true? What would be the point of that?
