Articles are saying "it's unclear" if an arrest has been made.

Sounds like a possibility! Would they even mention it if they were sure one hadn't?

ORANGE PARK - Clay County investigators and FBI agents served a search warrant this afternoon on a house in the block just west of where Sheriff Rick Beseler has said Somer Thompson was last seen before her disappearance and slaying nearly four months ago.

The home at XXXX Gano Ave. is was roped off with police tape about 2:20 p.m. as deputies and an FBI forensics team began searching in the front yard using rakes and shovels. They entered the home shortly befoer 3:30 p.m. A table has been set up outside with brown paper bags to collect evidence.

It's unclear if anyone was in the house when police arrived. No occupants of the house have been seen coming outside. Neither Sheriff Rick Beseler nor any other authorities have said why the house is being searched and whether the search is connected to Somer's case.

ORANGE PARK, Fla. -- Clay County investigators have roped off a home on Gano Avenue and served a search warrant this afternoon just one block west from where Somer Thompson was last seen, according to our news partner the Florida Times-Union.

Authorities, including FBI agents, are searching in the front yard of the home at XXXX Gano Ave. with shovels and rakes. A table has been set up with brown paper bags to collect evidence.

It's unclear if anyone is inside the home.

Diena Thompson, Somer's mother, told the Times-Union this afternoon she supports whatever work authorities can do to bring Somer's killer to justice.

Clay County property records show the home on Gano Avenue is owned by . One record reviewed by the Times-Union lists s occupation as an independent Baptist preacher.
