Thank you Dar, just trying to make sure any assumptions I make will be as accurate as possible; since we have gotten so little facts in this case... unfortunately that is what we are left with for our inquiring minds (sigh).

If you back to post #139 here, Amandareckonwith posted some good pics of the shed at both locations. The picture at Gano is a google street view shot, so I have no idea how to know when that was taken. I thought it was a picture from after Somer went missing, oops.

I think there is a picture of the shed taken on Gano sometime after Oct.19, then a picture of it at the Callahan home. I don't recall hearing when it was actually moved, but I will see if I can find an approximate date.


*** To correct myself, the picture of the shed on Gano is a Google street view pic, most likely taken before the 19th of October. It would be good to know if it was still there when Somer was taken. As the house was not being rented out, it would be easy for the parents to take the shed at their leisure, assuming they had a vehicle they could move it in. Does anyone know if there is any other pics that might have been taken of this home. I recall some posters were posting their pictures from the area, like Sad. Maybe this home could be in or in the background of one of these or in media somewhere.

There is a picture of a shed, but do we know for sure JH actually lived in it, or is that info hearsay?

We know for sure his parents took the shed at some point and moved it to their new location because LE searched it - right?

I'm confused about the shed and the dog and when JH moved in with his Aunt. Anybody else?

August 9: Roommates find on computer. Source

August 10: Roommates bring computer to Jacksonville Sheriffs Office, who determined it was out of their jurisdiction. Source

August 13: Computer then turned over to CCSO by JSO. Source

September 25: Computer turned over to SAG Cyber Crimes Unit. They were not able to begin taking it apart to do forensic testing on it until October 9. Source

October 5: Jarred Harrel's mom (AD) and stepdad (GLD II) move out of their house on Gano, to Callahan, FL. Source It is believed they took the dog and the shed with them. Source???

October 9: SAG Cyber Crimes Unit begins forensic testing on Jarred Harrell's computer. Source

January 24: Estimated date. Jarred Harrell moves to Meridian, Mississippi. "His family said Harrell just moved back to Mississippi a few weeks ago." Source (I read that it was 2 1/2 weeks before his arrest, which was on 2/11, so I estimated that he moved around January 24.)

February 11: Jarred Harrell arrested in Meridian, MS, on child charges. Source

February 11: Homes on Gano Avenue, Orange Park, FL, in Callahan, FL, and in Meridian, MS, were searched along with a vehicle in Meridian, MS. Source

February 18: Florida Governor Charlie Crist asks Mississippi Governor to extradite Jarred Harrell. Source

I can't see anywhere its says they took the shed, or when they took the shed. I am pretty sure that JH moved to his Aunts in Mississippi about 2 1/2wks before his arrest. Where he was before that is confusing, sometime at the home on Gano, and i have also read that at some point he was living in his car. It seems his parents did not really want him living under there roof, I am wondering when the power was cut and if that was done purposly so JH couldn't continue staying there after they left.

I am wondering if LE knows that the shed was indeed still there when Somer was taken, seeing as they do seem to have a deep interest in it. IMO since the house was not being rented out after his parents moved, they didn't necessarily move everything in one day.

JH moves out and in with Aunt ????

Research shows there usually some kind of 'trigger' in a pedophile's life that may have prompted an offense...with WK, the RSO I thought may have done this, the trigger would have been the death of his long-time girlfriend, loss of a family and home to live in.

With JH the trigger could also be the loss of his family, place of living, and dog. ``abandonment``

I'm not in any way saying he's guilty, but if he is, maybe the trigger is ``abandonment``! MOO

Another thought: A few days ago a poster (sorry I don't remember the name) brought out the possibility that the trigger could have been the lack of computer.

With his gone since the summer and his parents moved out (and no access to theirs), JH may have been without the ability to get his "fix" by computer and got it with a real child when the opportunity arose.

Sadly, this may be true.

2/11/10 - Looks like the shed and home in Callahan Fl. was searched the same day as JH arrest, 2/11/10. You might want to add the search to your time-line. Doubt that was a coincidence. mho

I saw the article posted on February 17 and 18 with the text "six weeks" (comments are from 2/17 and probably started with the posting of the article).

Six weeks before that would have been January 6. If I did the math right.

thanks Noway, I found that article but wasn't sure when it had been updated. JH moved to Mississippi sometime in January, didn't cooperate in giving his DNA and LE went to his dad's place around Jan. 6th? Or maybe JH was still in Florida when asked for DNA. Maybe the DNA isn't the reason for his arrest? 1& 1/2 months later he is arrested? Do I have that right? TIA

IIRC, and right now my mind is a twizzle, so don't quote me on this:

JH moved about 2 1/2 weeks before he was arrested (2/11). I put that at January 24ish).

If they went to his Dad January 6, that means LE had already asked him for DNA by then, doesn't it?

They got the SAG report on November 12. My guess is they were asking for DNA soon after that.
