I believe they consider him a poi at this time since he is a person that interest them since he has behaviour towards small children such as possessing child and the fact that he lived so close to somer only brings suspension on him as a " possible suspect"

My 2 cents:

This guy lived 3 or 4 houses from where LE said Somer was last seen. We have read reports she was last seen by “Kyle” at the burned out Gano house.

A friend said she had stopped at JH’s house before to pet a white dog.

Sleuthers here have looked on various MS and FB pages and found a picture of a white dog on a page that can be linked to JH.

We have heard he lived in the shed.

We have heard the family moved a couple weeks before Somer was taken/killed/dumped. That tells me JH had access to that house and shed alone. No one home to witness anything.

We know he has had a sick “pastime” of viewing child since he was a teen. His step dad found a tackle box full of child when he was a teen.

We have seen video/still shots of who appears to be JH at one of the vigils. This is something that is a known action of a perp who wants to be witness to the aftermath of their actions.

We have LE digging and raking at JH’s house on Gano and the home in Callahan.

We have LE taking DNA sample for his presumed bio dad. His dad says then JH gave a sample

Right after some of the tests results are received, he is arrested for child and called a POI in Somer’s case.

LE is calling him a POI. Nobody else since Oct. has been named a POI. So, why this guy???? IMO There has to be a reason.

So…
1) He has/had previous issues with thinking children are sex objects ***MOTIVE???***
2) Lived very close to where Somer went missing in a home or shed alone ***OPPORTUNITY???***

I just don’t understand how he is almost being defended by some.

I’ve seen Somer’s family and friends of the family bashed and blamed for months with a lot less info on them than we have on JH. CP was “hinky” because he says he likes . I’m assuming he means adult that is perfectly legal in our country. I don’t agree with it, but it’s legal.
But, for some reason, the fact that we are discussing this that likes child , not legal and IMO disgusting, is bothering some. I don’t get it.

I understand that no one (myself included) wants to see an innocent person framed for a murder they did not commit, but I don’t see that happening in this case.

I think JH had talked to Somer before using his dog as a lure.
I think Somer saw JH on the day she was taken and asked him where his dog was.
I think JH used that to get Somer in that house or that shed.
I think he sexually attacked her, killed her, and dumped her in the trash.

IMO he fits the suspect role better than anybody else that we know of so far. I don’t think her family fits. I don’t think friends of the family fit. And, I don’t think the RSOs in the area fit, because I believe they have DNA and it did not match what LE had in the database for the ROS’s.

I’ve always believed this was a sexually motivated crime. I think the fact a known child fan has given DNA and named a POI kinda backs that up. IMO

IIRC, and right now my mind is a twizzle, so don't quote me on this:

JH moved about 2 1/2 weeks before he was arrested (2/11). I put that at January 24ish).

If they went to his Dad January 6, that means LE had already asked him for DNA by then, doesn't it?

They got the SAG report on November 12. My guess is they were asking for DNA soon after that.

Looks like JH was still living on Gano when asked for his DNA? He wasn't cooperative so dad in Mississippi was next? Wonder where he spent the holidays? Wonder when LE finally got his DNA?

Noway - is there any way you could add that info (tentatively) to your time-line? Or put it at the bottom indicating you are not sure about dates? Honestly, I don't know why I'm so hung up on the dates but somehow it may be important down the line. So much happened in that short time frame. Thanks again for all the work you did on this time-line...we MUST carry it over to the next thread!

They would have access to LE radio info, possibly. I don't have the link anymore, but it does say that about ham radio operators. They were big in to helping with issues in the community.

Just thinking that if their set-up was in the shed, it would make sense to take the shed with them to ensure they had the place to set up their equipment again.

Not to mention, he would know exactly when Somer was reported missing and LE started searching for her.
Would even hear details of steps they were taking during search IMO.

The search literally hit home for schools Superintendent BW, who lives about 100 yards from the Gano Drive spot where Somer was last seen. About 2 a.m. Tuesday, his house and many others in the vicinity were “searched from top to bottom,” W said.

That makes sense. My ex-butthead was big into ham radio, and most of the people I met through him (in his radio clubs) had their radio gear set up in garages, sheds, outbuildings, etc. They also had portable buildings (on trailers, I guess) they'd set up for events ('field days' I think they were called). The antennae can be either attached to the building or on a freestanding tower.

Based on your timeline when Somer went missing the D's had moved to Callahan. So there weren't any household members to talk to, right? Did they track the D's to Callahan and talk to them there? Was anyone at the home that day? It is said that JH was living there when Somer went missing-did the D's know this?
If JH is the perp and this is where he harmed Somer at it seems logical to me that he would not stick around while there was a search going on for her.
Did LE know the home was vacant at this time? Was it searched? I still want to know why the D's moved into a rental home when they owned a home. It was not for sale or trying to be rented, right? Was it foreclosed on? I will have to search to see if there is/was a judgement on it.

So many questions and not enough answers. Hopefully soon we will have some, answers that is, and Somer will have justice.

Twall, my brain obviously was not working ... the family (except for allegedly JH) was gone by 10/19 and most likely so was all ham radio equipment.

Now you know why I need a timeline. And even then it does not help.
