The question I have about the roomies who stated they "caught" him looking at the stuff earlier chose not to call police right then. They seemed to have thought stealing an Ipod a worse offense than looking at child 🤬🤬🤬🤬? Because they waited until it had been in their hands alone for a whole week before alerting anyone also seems suspect and no wonder they were investigated at first. Because it doesn't see logical at all.

And did they or anyone else ever say that JH was taken in for questioning at any time since Aug? Other than when he was asked to give a DNA swab in the Dec/Jan timeframe.
At which time the investigation into the 🤬🤬🤬🤬 charges had been completed. Yet he was not arrested at that time to prevent him leaving the state? We do not hear that he was asked not to leave at the time. But, by doing so it makes it the case even more high profile by involving two governors exercising state extradition orders that appear to have been unnecessary. What am I missing here?

You're missing the frame up. I don't believe this is the killer and unless DNA proves it, I won't ever believe it. So far he's the fall guy to me.

I don't recall reading that they caught him beforehand. What I recall is that the younger brother of this roommate, about a year ago, saw a suspicious file on JH's puter, he was about to look at it and JH told him don't touch my computer. The young man told JH's parents, IIRC.

Because of what happened a yr ago, the roommates had suspicions and decided to look at JH puter, found the child 🤬🤬🤬🤬, and the parents came the next day to turn the computer in.

I wonder how long he was being watched, but I also second guess that, as i had also heard he started sleeping in his car in the Fleming Island area because he was hiding out. IDK , so many different possibilities and mixed statements.

That's you and me seeing the logic of what SHOULD be. But what is, looks very much like political brownie points being made by Crist and Barbour and I don't like it one bit!!

Jf the bio dad gave dna in early jan, would it not be back by now?

I mean all these agencies say Somer's case is Priority 1,

  • #626
I also find that very hard to believe. If that is the case, there is no hope for this world. IMO

Um, that is a satire/parody site.

Gotta run for now.

I think LE got the right guy. I think he will be arrested soon and found guilty in a court of law.

That's just my opinion and I hope I'm right for Somer's family's sake. They need to know what happened to Somer.

Noooooo.... parodying wikipedia. Check out the link.

But, the "stats" we were discussing came from that site.
So, were they just made up? If so, I find that sick.

Maybe they should have left this to the experts and hired the Maury Povich show!

I think the timing is right with naming him POI. By the time they got those swabs to the lab, did their various tests etc., i could see it taking about 4-6wks. IIRC there was mention of special labs around the country. I could see these labs having numerous high priority cases. Then what if they had to make sure that HH was indeed JH's biological father? They would have had to get JH's DNA to match that as well. They possibly only got JH DNA once he was arrested.

Must be something more they are testing. Shrubbery?

Pretty much everything on that site is made up or exaggerated. That's the point of it.

Geez...I should have read more. I didn't mean to mislead or waste anyone's time, so I am going to delete that post. Thanks.

What leads me to think he is not a suspect and did not kill Somer is:

1) Neither the dogs nor door to door investigations lead to the house (or his car) being singled out as a crime scene.

2) LE coming out and saying that S.O. were not a group being looked at in this case.

3) He was never seriously looked at by investigators when a target was painted on his back by Friday the 23rd just in case investigators missed him before! They were evidently already focused in another direction.

4) I do not think when Beseler was asked about his working theory, that he and the detectives were not wishing to comment on Tuesday, had anything to do with JH.

Yes and more discrepancy exists.
If he wasn't arrested while on Gano then it is beyond belief he would be arrested in another state. Why not ask if there were other victims etc? Whole thing is so fake to me. Not to mention the Camaro. Now with a car he could have taken Somer to Ga himself and not need to use a dumpster. I truly wish this was the killer but my gut says no on so many levels.
I think this case just has had so many false leads from 1080 Gano to now 1152 Gano. So much time wasted. I wonder if they blew this case altogether.

My point was that if there was DNA on Somer (which I hope) and they had DNA from the bio dad of JH (or the man suspected to be) then the comparison would have been made by now.

Perhaps bio dad is not the bio dad after all, and Jarred's DNA was needed after all (to eliminate him as a possible to the DNA on Somer). It was said he "later" gave DNA but I don't know if that is accurate.

LOL @ Hounds: Yes, Maury would have been on the job with the results in an hour. I wonder how well this works.

most likely they want to collect grass samples, and any other kind of fibers and such that could have been in that yard. she could have had dirt and grass debris on her clothing. grass and dirt can very easily varie from yard to yard as well as can the soil samples do to. everyone manages their yards differently so the conditon of grass and soil samples can be tested forensically for differenty aspects of collected samples. " grass from my yard wouldn't be the same as my neighbors yard" I don't use fertilizers on mine the neighbor does. so with that example. those are types of things looked at in forensics along with other differences. plus she could have had dog hairs on her so that yard would be an excellent source for collecting dog hairs..
