Just came in to work and seen the news. AMEN!! Justice will be served, it will never bring this sweet little angel back, but may she now rest in peace knowing that this monster will never hurt another child. I am praying for all of Somer's loved ones and family, that God continues to give them strength and courage to get through this.

I heard on the news this morning big annoucement coming at noon, click on here seen LFlorida had posted. As I walked past TV I just seen the bottom ticker saying JH has been charged. Great work! I bet at news conference they want tell us much more.

This family needs to be supported now, I'm sure this arrest and the upcoming trial will bring so much up that they are just not prepared to go through.
All the details they have not known, will soon slap them in the face.

He has been that way with DT since this started. Always trying to protect her and find justice for her baby.

Justice for Somer...finally. What a good day. And kudos to the people who brought forward JH's computer and continued to persue it after Somer's death.

My prayers to the family. They are going to have a lot to deal with in the coming months.

In all fairness, I pray for his family too.
Maybe not the false alibi members or the enablers, but I'm sure the majority of his family love him and just can not believe he would do this.

Not only did he take Somer's life, this monster has ruined so many lives.

This is what I'm getting for sexual battery on a child under 12 from FL 794:

h) "Sexual battery" means oral, anal, or vaginal penetration by, or union with, the sexual organ of another or the anal or vaginal penetration of another by any other object; however, sexual battery does not include an act done for a bona fide medical purpose.

This is what I'm getting for lewd and lascivious battery from FL 800:

(b) Encourages, forces, or entices any person less than 16 years of age to engage in sadomasochistic abuse, sexual bestiality, prostitution, or any other act involving sexual activity

So my understanding is that sexual battery is basically rape with an object, and L&L battery is unusual acts such as those listed.

Is that correct?
