If I read stories correctly, this man workED about two months ago at the Gano address. It sounds like the brother was trying to help/do a favor for the convicted perp. I sincerely hope the construction company and the brother aren't liable for the crime if this man did it.

my son went to work with his Nana this morning, he called me and said they had a van pulled over on Kingsley Ave, or 17,forgot which one he said, and were searching it...lots of LE involved..

IMO if LE still has hold of him - must be a reason - especially since LE said they cleared all the RSO's in the "immediate" neighborhood - he didn't live in the "immediate" neighborhood but he KNEW this house and its proximity to the elementary school. If this guy is the perp...it's a cautionary tale regarding CWG and this case. That a SO who is unaccounted for could be questioned randomly by an officer searching for a young girl. Sometimes bizarre coincidences happen.

James Vinson and his business partner were interrogated for hours by detectives on Thursday, she said, and George Vinson was being questioned Friday.

Police searched their Mandarin home Thursday and seized a truck and trailer from their property, she said.

First Coast News made two attempts to reach James Vinson. During one phone call, he said, "I don't want to talk about it" and hung up."

According to the Clay County Sheriff's Department there have been developments in the case:

*Investigators continue to search tons of garbage at a Folkston, Ga., landfill, but won't reveal if any evidence has been discovered. They won't say if they have retrieved DNA evidence.

*Deputies have been with members of Somer's family around the clock since Monday.

Help! Are there two George Christopher Vinson?

I looked up George and two sex offenses came up:

One with a birthday of 11/30/75 - sex offender, drugs, etc
for the sex offense looks like there was NO ajudication involved (why)

One with a birthday of 11/19/75 - same exact name (different birth date), same county...

11/19/75 was charged with a sexual offense on Oct. 1, 2002
no plea entered

Dismissed Oct. 29, 2002 (NO reason given)

If these two are the same person, George didn't serve prison time for his first offense of raping a minor
AND his 2nd offense was dismissed with no reason given
ARE THEY THE SAME PERSON??? if so - no wonder Florida has so many predators!

Being questioned is not the same as being charged. I do hope this is the man responsible however I will not assume it based on him being questioned.

His judgment from me started way before now..
Once he broke the law to become a SO, his judgment began..whether he did this to Somer or not, I'll feel no differently towards him or any other SO.
I hope it is him, least we know LE has there eyes on him well enough that he can't touch another child right now.

Respectfully, I feel the same way about SO's too...but I want the CORRECT person arrested and tried for Somer's murder.
