I am sooooo impressed by these guys. I really am! I keeping my fingers crossed that they get everything they need. I have the feeling in several other cases police know who their man is but can't prove it (Nevaeh B.)

If he is in custody and being questioned, I would suspect they are trying to wear him down to get a confession. That makes a conviction a whole lot easier when you get a confession before an actual arrest.

Yes bro has construction company and I thinking bro is in big trouble for having RSO with a mile from school.
no 🤬🤬🤬🤬..two months ago when he was working at that house school was in session... and I bet he was just having a great old time with his sick fantasies. I am sure he knew the house was vacant.. perhaps he had the day off that day and decided to go hunting. How disgusting

Tracy Newton and her two children are just one of the many families who stopped by the tree across the street from the Thompson family's home Friday to leave mementos for the little girl.

"My husband and I have been coming to the vigils and I just wanted to bring my children to see this," Newton said.

But Newton has another reason for being here, she wants "stranger danger" message to hit home for her children, Caitlyn and Austin.

This one?

Ya know the smirk on that piece of crap's face...I really and truly hope that this a$$hat never smiles again for the rest of his life. Sorry, it just is unreal how these lowlifes can smile in their mugs like that when the crimes they commit are so horrible. Just burns my stomach.:furious:

nursie - I'm thinking that two months ago school wasn't in session yet. Any locals here remember when school started up there? If he was working there and school was still out - he knew that school was there and that is was only a matter of time when school started up again - he had the place, just had to wait for the right time.

Didn't neighbors and other children say they'd seen Somer around that house before, in the yard etc. Maybe this was not the first time he tried to lure her in. That's another awful thought. Sorry!

Yes, and it burns my stomach that they are on the street at all. We need a revolution.

in one of the early videos LE said (when questioned about her walking home) that somer had been doing this for "three months" (thus my speculation on that)

ok - if we back up two months from today - Oct 23 that gives us Aug 23. Could be he was working on that house before school started.

We've had to use dumpsters during construction on our home.

Basically, you call and have the dumpster company bring the dumpster to your home. You then call them to have it picked up when it is full and, possibly, replaced with an empty one. It's not like you are on a regular route or anything.

It does appear that the dumpster in the driveway has stuff in it from the video that I've seen. Since it is unlikely that any work was done at the house since before Somer went missing, the fact that there is debris in the dumpster makes it unlikely that there was a pickup and delivery since then.

I'm thinking the body may have been brought from the house to a business dumpster.

OMG, could you imagine if the guy simply left her in a black garbage back for the garbage pickup on the curb? Could that have been possible?

I suppose anything is possible.

I'm still trying to catch up, but typically a body is too heavy to be put out for trash, just in a bag at the curb. Most areas put weight limits on what the trash guys are required to lift. If it's too heavy, they tag it and leave it, he wouldn't want that. Not to mention, the chance that it wouldn't have attracted animals, is way too slim.
However, I wonder if the trash guys have been talked to, maybe they remember someone flagging them down or loading a large bag they insisted on handling themselves.

But it seems she either wasn't placed in a bag, or the bag ripped, or she was in something where her leg was exposed at the landfill; IIRC, it was her leg that caught the attention of those going through the landfill. MOO

Yes, I know that. But the fact that she was exposed doesn't mean that she wasn't in a bag originally.

Do you think cops told mom they think know who it was? It really looked like she knew who she was talking to in that tv camera. I can't remeber which clip I was watching it was just a few hours ago. Did anyone else see that. She was serious and whe said "we're coming to get you" straight into the camera. It was impressive. She is really unbelievable. What a strong person.

Most pedophiles drop the body anywhere convenient for them. After the hunt and attack, the child is nothing more than an object to them. It makes perfect sense to me that this perp dropped beautiful Somer in the closest, most convenient spot...the trash! Some pull a branch or two over the body, I'm not surprised at all. mho
