GUILTY FL - Steven & Michelle Andrews, both 28, murdered, Fort Myers, 27 Dec 2005

You know, there is something in the timeline from the Sheriff's office that really bothers me. Maybe it has been addressed somewhere, but if so, I haven't seen it. It is this: Between 3:50 a.m. and 4:10 a.m. Cooper is seen opening Ballew's bedroom door and leaving a note in the adjoining bathroom. My question is this - who saw him???? Maybe the answer is in the transcripts somewhere, cuz Lord only knows I haven't had time to read all that yet. But I do agree that Kellie does not sound like someone I would want to know - she almost sounds like a female version of ISP.

WOW....I can't believe that I never have heard of this case until last night. I just happened to come across it, and have been here reading about it ever since. Unbelievable and so horrible. Just to think these murders happened, because someone wanted a piece of a** from someone other than their partners. Its just terribly sad and that poor baby, he may have been horribly traumatized, which could manifest later in his life.

That quote struck me as odd also. I don't understand who they mean, was watching this. Very strange.

From Kellie's transcript:
KB: Uh-huh, and I just said okay, just be careful and he said I love you and I hung up the phone. and I do know that I looked at the clock and I thought I heard my door, the handle on my door probably about 4 o’clock

OTHER: this morning

KB: yes sir, and no body ever came in. I heard him this morning and um I don’t know what time it was but I got up at 7:30 so it had to been at least an hour before that and he’d come into my room and left a note in my bathroom

And then later she says...

KB: I got up at 7:30, but mean I woke up at 4 o’clock because I heard my door handle and then I was kinda in a daze when I knew he had come in my room because he went in my closet to get a shirt or something he was getting out of the closet, and then he went in the bathroom and left a note in there and I only know that because I found that this morning.

Not exactly a statement I would rely on...

Another thing that bothers me about Kellie is that she had to have known in her heart (mind, too?) that Fred killed Steve and Michelle. But she implicated Michelle as having possibly murdered Steve. Tried to make her sound crazy.

I am sorry, but if my marriage was falling apart, and I was trying desperately to save it as Michelle was, I would probably come off as a basket case too! Michelle was begging Steve to stay, and in his words to Kellie- "trying to be perfect".

Shame on Kellie. :slap:
I think that Michelle was in a tailspin and desperate to save her marriage. She definitely wasn't thinking straight. I think that had she been given the chance, she would have gained strength--especially if she started seeing a counselor.

Kellie makes me sick. Not only did she overtly intrude on Steve and Michelle's marriage, but she had the audacity to tell the cops that she thinks that Michelle went over the top and killed Steve and herself.

I guess that the point being that Steve was leaving Michelle for her and just couldn't take it. I hate to tell Kellie but a family member privately said that Michelle had Steve's semen in her. So, he wasn't true blue to his lover, Kellie. Surprise, surprise...

I have been hoping and praying that would be the case...that Steve and Michelle had been intimate before they were killed, and it would come out in the press.

Not sure if it is out in the press. This was PM'ed to me by a family member. I'm not sure if it will ever come out...maybe at trial...

How disgusting - but true. After the Bootie Call with Kellie, Steve Rose to the occasion - again - by having MARITAL RELATIONS with his soon to be dead wife. I am trying very hard to keep what little sympathy I do have for Steve around in my heart as - technically - he is a victim.

The jury in the murder trial that our State Attorney has been tied up in recommended the Death Penalty yesterday.... so the man that will be our Hero will be turning his full attention to Fred now. This was a crime of passion so I wouldn't be surprised if the DP were not sought, but if it is.......I know that the case is in the right hands to see it fully carried out way past the appellate process!!!

Can it still be considered a crime of passion when he was seen stalking the Andrews home several days before the murder? I would think that shows premeditation. I always thought CRIME OF PASSION was like if you walked in on your lover in the act, killed them on the spot...

Do you know this to be the case? I was thinking that sperm can live for a few days. So, I assumed that Steve had sex with Michelle within the past few days, not necessary that night. I don't know, though.

This was my understanding, too. However, I am not an attorney! I would think that the death penalty would be sought for the brutal murder of Michelle. She had nothing to do with a crime of passion as she wasn't part of the love triangle.

.
I assume they would be able to tell how "fresh" the sample was. I know on LAW AND ORDER and CSI type shows they say, "Victim had intecourse within the last X hours." Maybe that is not the case and I am putting too much stock in those shoes.

Are family members posting here? Or at News-Press???

Hi Tezi!
I thought it was so funny. I think the writer did a pretty good job of capturing the essence of Steve and Kellie. The references to music were too funny, and I especially loved Kellie's "response" about being onto her next guy. :blushing: :innocent: :D

I've been good, how about you? :blowkiss:
IdahoMom, I have been fine. It's just so good to be back!:blowkiss:

She sure seems like she doesn't waste much time going from one man to another, does she?

A few are posting at News-Press. Much of the information that I have received from a relative of the victims is being posted by another member using the name of Forensics Major. FM is not the relative. She is only posting the information, I assume with the relative's permission.

Another who has "outed" herself as Fred's grandmother is posting as Dddfsacc. She and I have PM'ed each other a few times.

Not much new going on in the case at the moment. I believe that we should know fairly soon if it will be a DP case.

Dddfsacc said she has shared her thoughts about Kellie. I haven't been able to find her post(s) about that. Nan, can you remember what she said about how she feels about Kellie?

Hi,

I am a long time lurker. This site is wonderful - I followed Laci's case and this was the only place where the members respected each other and didn't act like junior high school children. Oh, the drama!

I also came here to see what was being said during the trial for the man who murdered Samantha Runnion. That case is and will forever be very, very close to my heart.

This case has my attention. I feel so sad for the baby. I have no sympathy for the mistress. The husband was playing with fire. He got burned. The wife was an innocent victim.

A few pages back, someone linked to a newspaper article that had a photo of Lukacz. It also had a close up photo of his socks. Did anyone notice the red stain on his sock? When do you think that photo was taken? I haven't read anyone post about this...my apologies if you've already discussed the photo.

Thanks to all of you who post here. You're all wonderful, intelligent calm people. No drama. I like that. :)

SoCalSam

Edited to add: Yikes! How do I get rid of that green smiley guy by the subject line? It's my first post and I absolutely did not mean to put that green thing there. I'm not that insensitive. Ooooh, I think he's gone. I hope so.

nan,
Don't you think Kellie must of said something to Fred that made him go into a total rage? I've been keeping up over at the News-Press too. I just don't know how he was able to over power both Michelle & Steve both?

Hi there and welcome! :)
I understand that the picture was taken at a friend's (neighbor's?) house the day Lukasz' parents were found. And, I guess the stain is in fact blood. :(

Cheko,

I don't know if I read it on here or at the other site but it said that Steve was killed in the bed and then a fight ensued between Michelle & Fred on the bed which knocked Steve onto the floor. Going by that, evidently they were both sleeping when the attack started.
