So mom is now a PIO. Us longtimers here at WS know how this will proceed.
Any bets they have found her?

I don't know if they have found her but they have found something leading them out of State etc.

I think something has led them to this exact location and we should have news but it's getting dark early so searching will be difficult unless they actually have GPS coordinates IMO.

Brianna Williams, Taylor’s Mother : 5 Fast Facts | Heavy.com

Williams was involved in a number of extracurriculars during her high school years, including: the FCCLA and the National Beta Club, the LHS Marching Patriot Band (as a flutist), and several volunteer positions for Red Cross, Marengo County’s Alabama Day, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and more.

So 2010 - graduates #1 in her class and gets a full ride - two years later enlists in Navy. Did she lose her scholarship? 2014 she has Taylor - I'm interested in what happened during college - something did IMO. This is a life that went sideways - JMO.

I've been out most of the day. Glad to see there is now a POI and, not surprisingly, it's the mom.

When I read these cases, I think about the very rare ones in which someone is so eaten by guilt, they turn themselves in and confess. Not for any reason other than they decide it's time to do right by their victim. They have actual remorse.
Those are the perps I maybe feel empathy for.

That hasn't happened in this case yet. If it did, it would mean this child was indeed truly loved by at least one parent, one deciding in the end to just do right by her.

I wish it wasn't so rare for someone to decide they just want to confess. Only one case comes to mind and I can't even remember which... just the murderer saying how the guilt was destroying him.

Anyway hopefully this case will be one of those rare ones in which she just decides to come clean.
I'm sure that does actually happen more often than we think.

Honestly if this were any other circumstance, her life would seem more or less fine. Graduated at the top in HS, went to college briefly but for unknown reasons joined the military, and was transferred around every couple of years. Had a baby in the middle of it all but kept working as many single moms do. None of it would seem remarkable or out of the ordinary if what happened last week and all subsequent events hadn't happened.

But they did, and that sweet child is the victim of...whatever we don't know.

Thankful that Taylor's case is receiving the attention she deserves.

Some cases with missing children do not.
And that's so sad !!!

Eta : We should be bracing ourselves for news updates, good or bad.

The sportsplex is just a few minutes from the city landfill, if that means anything....

6 Differences between Military and Civilian Criminal Proceedings

"...Entering into the military comes with a separate set of rules, privileges, and responsibilities. The world of criminal justice is no exception. Military criminal proceedings have different courts, processes, and penalties than civilian courts.
Just like civilian crimes, though, military crimes have the potential to destroy your reputation and your career. If you have been charged with a crime or are afraid you may be charged with a crime, become familiar with military criminal proceedings to prepare yourself for what is coming next.
Quoted my post to emph. the bolded.
Will the military be more severe than the civil courts if this is a murder case ?
I expect they have 'eyes on her' at the naval base.

Most of all I want Taylor to be found and respectfully laid to rest if she's no longer with us.
And justice if need be.

I'd be glad to be wrong, and she's just hidden away by someone.

The homicide doesn't surprise me as we all suspect they all suspect Taylor is no longer alive (despite having hope otherwise). But the ASA is on the trip as well?? That I find different. I am used to seeing the SA's office involved AFTER someone has been charged with something. Gives me hope that LE is further along than we think on this as far of evidence of some crime.

I was surprised as well ASA is present.

Is it a FH? I thought it looked like a church. I think an autopsy would take place at the county coroner or medical examiner's facility wouldn't it? For like chain of evidence reasons that could be challenged during a prosecution?
