Hello, this is my father and we are approaching 5 years since we have last heard from him. I stumbled onto this website while researching everything I can about his case to see if there is anything that can be done to help with finding out what happened to him. If anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated. My name is tattooed on his neck.

I am trying to piece it together to make some kind of timeline. Thinking about hiring a private investigator if I can afford it to hopefully get some kind of clue. And help or insight is greatly appreciated thank you

Kyle, so sorry for your loss. Before hiring a PI, have you spent some time with the investigating officers? I saw a note about he felt unsafe at Grace Market Place so he went to the hotel. He disappeared Nov 9. The next day was a Gators home game and that hotel would probably have went up to the maximum nightly rate, perhaps he knew he needed to stay somewhere else on Saturday? Also, do you know why he felt unsafe? Have you spoken with Grace Market Place? The woods nearby seems like a logical place to start looking.

Kyle, welcome. YOu will learn a great deal by staying here on the site for a while. People will be so helpful to help you search. First, you should learn how to become an "insider". It gives you advantage of what you can post since you are a relative in the case.

Also,
I am going to try to pull in a couple of our longstanding Websleuths members.... they are outstanding around building timelines with cases. I don't know how they do it all.... but I also don't know what we would do without their hard work that benefits all of us. One of the two is also a Floridian.... and that always helps in a case to have local knowledge.

@Niner and @PayrollNerd .... i hope you see this . Perhaps you can give @KyleTBrown some ideas and motiviation.

He had the room for a few days including that Saturday, so I don’t believe he went back to Grace to stay somewhere else. I don’t know a ton of details about him being unsafe as I don’t know who he told that to. I never heard any mention of it before he disappeared. I know he took bike rides around the grace marketplace area. We have spoken with the investigators of the case and we went down there to start a search but couldn’t find anything. Only thing that was a possible lead was the fight he had at grace marketplace, which was with someone who had a criminal history.

Thank you so much! I am hoping building some kind of accurate timeline may hopefully give a better search area to work with. The woods behind grace marketplace seems logical as eyewitnesses last saw him there, but I don’t see a time frame of when they saw him. There’s also a lot of wooded areas around the hotel he stayed at. My goal is to get help with building a timeline and spark something with my family up in jersey so we can go on a big search down there once again. I have also Contacted the NAMUS website as I found a few unidentified remains that match his height and/or weight. I have heard nothing back Since their first reply

Post the NamUs cases here. Also, if you have a contact at GPD or the Alachua Sheriff's office, send them the NamUs links. One of those organizations would likely be responsible for looking at comparisons. Have you guys supplied DNA to either of these agencies?

We have supplied DNA both myself and his brother.

NamUs #UP96465 is the case number for the unidentified remains that I am awaiting a email back for. I also am awaiting call back from the detective of the case from 5 years ago in hopes of helping in any way, like getting any medical records, dental records etc. also sent the same request to NAMUS

Since you've supplied DNA, NamUs will automatically compare Does with your father. You're probably not finding him on NamUs unfortunately.
