FL - Tracey Nix, two of her grandchildren died in her care in separate incidents (7mo in hot car Nov '22 & 16mo drowned Dec '21)

She killed two out of two grandchildren. And here she is worried that someone might find out she’s a lesbian.

Wow. File that under things I never imagined I'd read. And she got her husband involved!
What in the world is her husband’s problem?! He hands over the money in the sheriff department parking lot and doesn’t tell the sheriff what’s going on. SMH

I just read a post about sextortion plot with her and her cellmates. Nix Victim Of Sextortion After Jailhouse Trysts

😲🤯😵‍💫 Never expected this on top of everything else. I feel very sorry for her family. It's too much. Don't understand her husband either. Can't think of anything wise to say. I guess maybe she should've agreed to pay for the special defense voodoo ritual that would magically make all her legal troubles disappear.

“She confirmed that she had engaged in consensual sexual encounters with (Sanchez), including at least one instance involving (Cardoza),” the report states.

Nix reportedly described Sanchez as having “different personalities” and that at one time offered a “voodoo” ritual for a fee of $15,000 to ensure that Nix’s current legal issues would “disappear.”

I suppose if you are responsible for the death of two of your grandchildren, things are not ok upstairs. Way more to this woman and her husband, than meets the eye.

This feels like an understatement. MOO.

I didn't think I could be anymore repulsed by this excuse of a human being but here it is! This also shows her husband's willingness to cover for her so I have to seriously question any of his testimony about what really happened when the children died. Sick, sick, sick!

I hope the judge can take this lack of remorse (to say the least) into consideration at sentencing.

Florida grandmother to be sentenced for baby's hot car death

Thursday's sentencing hearing is set to begin at 8:30 a.m.
Nix faces five to eight years in prison, but court documents show her attorneys have asked the judge for a "downward departure," or lesser sentence that falls below the typical guidelines.

This story was already vile and now off the charts. The max sentence is not enough for this woman who should never be on the loose again. Imagine her family's reaction to the latest

why is the husband up there defending her actions as referenced above. There is something demonic about Tracey.

i have never heard this kind of testimony in a sentencing hearing. I don't buy her tale at all. She is one messed up woman and so is Nay. This belonged in the court case. She has never once apologized and admitted guilt. I can't listen to her. I think she knows another case coming for Ezra. I cannot understand why all of this talk about the boy is allowed.

as i understand it she got 5 years with time served which was max that judge could do within guidelines and points system. The judge said everything I was thinking...not remorseful at all...just sad. He did not buy much of what she said and regrets not being able. to. go higher on the sentence. He seems like a very wise man and she was disputing things as he spoke under her breath. It seems she has an appeal attorney lined up and will go forward with that. Even in Florida I think that is a waste of time. I think he also called the church ladies' testimony untruthful. Judge was great.
