I don’t think the boy was Aiden. I have a screenshot of the boy and he looks younger than Aiden. Also Aiden has acne and this boy doesn’t appear to. But who is the woman? That was not his mom. She was seen in another “window” on zoom.

I saw a brief part of the service. Her entire family was on stage, all wearing an aqua blue color. I’m not sure if that was Tristyn’s fave color, or for some other reason. I can’t imagine being in anyone’s shoes that knew and loved her. I’m glad the service went well.

As someone who was raised on the internet in the early days, I humbly agree. Especially now as an adult who stumbled over all those Instagram profiles. Holy cow. It’s vicious. And because they are all young with not much life experience, they all run their mouth not knowing they can self incriminate. Which with what I read, is exactly what a lot of them are doing. It’s nuts. In my honest opinion I think AF had an unfortunate upbringing mixed with the viciousness of kids who have no filter these days cause they feel safe behind their screens.

Weird that some articles say the AF grew up in the neighborhood with TB when the stepdad and/or mom purchased the 4000 sf 5 bedroom/4 bath home with saltwater pool for $560.000 on Dec 30, 2020. Unless they had owned or rented a home in another part of the neighborhood... And indigent? I don't know why.

I have no idea what the laws are for this type of situation, but if he is being charged as an adult, would his parents be legally obligated to pay for his attorney? At what age would that obligation end, i.e. if someone’s 30 year old child is on trial for murder, are the parents legally obligated to foot the bill for an attorney? It seems to me if he’s considered an “adult”, going through the adult court system, his parents shouldn’t have to sell their house or empty their 401K or whatever unless they chose to do so.

This picture of her classmates, wearing white in honour of Trystan, just really hit me because you can see how young they all are. They are just babies really. This is so heartbreaking...

My friends and I used to sneak out and run around when we were that age too. We walked to the creek and met up with the boys and just kind of ran around hiding from cars before sneaking back home. It NEVER EVER occurred to me that one of my classmates might stab me to death. Never.

This is so tragic and devastating.

I think AF social media post “has inybody (sic) seen Tristyn?” was a lame excuse to use social media to try to “prove” he didn’t know anything. These kids really think it is real… because they saw it on the internet. IMO

Remember, the AF post was just before he was taken in to questioning where he changed his story multiple times. He thought he could “game” the detectives. IMO

This hideous crime has strong evidence.

I hope the focus remains on maximum punishment of the guilty.

I agree. I don't think he sent that as a proud boast of what he did. He did it imo because he was just put in the back of a squad car to get questioned and he wanted to DISTANCE himself from it all. Posting that was a lame attempt at stating that he knows nothing as per her whereabouts. Peace sign is just a stupid "hey I'm cool, chill" kind of nonsense that goes along with social media these days.
