Officials with the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office said the hikers called 911 and said they’d been walking for hours, but stopped because one person wasn’t feeling well.

The Volusia County and Brevard County sheriff's offices are searching a marshy area along the intracoastal to the south of Oak Hill, near the county line.

Search underway for missing hikers in Volusia County

We believe missing hikers have been located in marshy area on river 4 miles north of where they parked vehicle at WSEG boat ramp #brevardcounty. Rescue effort underway. May get them by boat.

Two men who got lost while hiking Friday near the intracoastal waterway and Volusia-Brevard county line have been rescued.
