The San Francisco Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing at-risk adult.

On Monday, 5/1/23 at approximately 11:00 am an officer responded to Park Station regarding a report of a missing person. At Park Station, a family member reported that Vittorio Marianecci was last seen in Florida on Wednesday, 4/26/23. Marianecci was expected to fly to Seattle, Washington on Thursday, 4/27/23, but he never arrived. Marianecci's family tracked his phone to San Francisco, but the phone's location has not been tracked since his arrival.

Through the course of the investigation, Marianecci was last seen entering Marin County on Friday, April 28, 2023, at an unknown time.

Marianecci is described as a 57-year-old male, 5’7”, 170 pounds, balding with grey hair, brown eyes, with a multi-colored tattoo on his left upper arm. Marianecci is considered “at-risk” due to statements he made that may put him as a danger to himself. We do not have his clothing description at this time. Marianecci’s photos accompany this news release.

Anyone who locates Vittorio Marianecci should call 911 and report his location and physical description. Anyone with information on his possible whereabouts should call the SFPD Tip Line at 1-415-575-4444 or Text a Tip to TIP411 and begin the text message with SFPD. You may remain anonymous.

So he’s from California, was supposed to fly into Washington state but was last seen in the Ocala Fl. Area? Have I got that right? What was he doing in Fl.? Visiting family? Friends?

RIP Vittorio.

This industry news article says he was a brand ambassador for an Italian wine producer and also has more info on his movements per family:

I wonder if he was overwhelmed with his career or maybe at some sort of crossroads in life. He deliberately deceived others about his plans. Sounds like that was out of character for him. JMO
