I wonder about the back story in this case. Married very young (Ancestry shows her marrying at 15 in Allendale, SC) and divorcing, followed by remarrying the same husband (only 3 years older) in Florida in 1977 to whom she was married when she went missing. The marriage records are undoubtedly for the same couple as both first and second christian names match for both partners in both cases, as do surname and maiden name. I assume she was pregnant to be able to marry at 15 since this seems to have been the primary exception in SC to the minimum age of 16.

Welcome to Websleuths Mandaleigh21. I'm sorry your family member is missing. Is there any more info you can share about the circumstances of Winnie's disappearance? There is not much about her case online. Was her disappearance suspicious or was she thought to be voluntarily missing?

When you get a better photo please send it to NAMUS. Here's the contact info for Winnie's case: The National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs)
If you email them, it may help to mention her case number is NamUs #MP22793.

I hope you are successful at finding the info you seek.

There’s a lot to the story that I feel that law enforcement didn’t release I’m sure due to their own reasons . It was thought that she was taken and murdered due to working for the cops and also the bad guys . She had at one time ( and you can request her paper work etc from the state) spent time in a rehab prison down in south Florida ,not long after she had another child , i want to say he was around 11 months old at the time she disappeared. She had two relationships in her life at that point (she was no longer with my grandfather ) I’ve read many letters of hers and it showed that she cared tremendously about her children . I tried requesting those papers from the prison but due to the prison no longer existing it isn’t easy . I don’t think she ran off she didn’t leave her kids for long periods of time as such , I think she was murdered .There was a man whom she had been seeing & they were unable to question him for a period of time because he happened to of went out of town the day she disappeared , however she was still no where to be found . He was questioned when he came back to town from my understand and was released . A man that was a neighbor had claimed he had seen two guys out her Put her in a car , this Was pretty much the only witness there was to go by .

Thank you for your backstory! On Namus, they include her last known location, which happens to be a block away from the bus station. Was this information provided by the neighbor who claimed to have seen her last? I find it intriguing you mentioning the man she was seeing leaving out of town the same day she disappeared.
