I'm nervous about the lack of direct evidence that some people seem to think is imperative to prove guilt too WTC.

If there's someone on the jury who believes that it's possible that TJ actually did kill the kids, then that might be enough reasonable doubt for them to vote to acquit him on those charges.

So you're right. If they believe his tall tale, then it's possible he could end up with one guilty verdict on manslaughter or 2nd degree and two not guilty verdicts on 1st degree.

I'd rather see a mistrial.

Exactly! And there’s so much the Jury isn’t seeing, doesn’t know. Honestly, if I were a juror I might have a few doubts.

Thanks for posting all the tweets today WTC and scmom. I was out most of the day and could only read along and post on my phone at times.

I didn't get a chance to watch any of it. Has there been any indication that LT is putting on a defense? If the prosecution was expected to wrap up today and the judge figured the jury would have the case by Friday, does that mean that they do plan to call a witness or two. Or maybe King Semi himself?

I sure hope the jury is not falling for the smoke and mirror show of "all I did was defend myself and accidentally karate chop my wife in the neck while my deranged friend took an axe to the kids" nonsense.

Idk, but the defense seems to be trying hard to plant doubt. Example, defense asking if Toledo has ever said he did it, if Toledo has ever changed his story about TJ doing it, etc. I sure hope the jury doesn’t fall for it but I’m more than a bit nervous.

I guess I'm alone, but I think everything points to guilt. I'm hoping for guilty on all counts. I think he's a monster that is too good at committing murders and hiding bodies.

Having watched the interviews with LT I have no doubt he killed his family. I think the children witnessed what he did to Yessinia and he killed them to keep them from telling. He thought he'd be able to say she'd left with the kids.
It makes no sense, to me, that TJ would have witnessed him killing Yessinia and taken it upon himself to kill the children and dispose of the bodies to protect himself because he was on probation.
I believe TJ and not LT.
