Funny how BS comments on the accusation against JB being a 10 right up there with stealing from a client and yet 2 of ICA's attorneys have been accused of exactly that.

No, not exactly. He wasn't specific about who at the time just that there were searchers. Not sure exactly where the timing of that motion and CM claiming first 100 then 80 witnesses to the judge.

The Jury should not be distracted by the escapades of the Defense attorney's ... it is one thing to set aside any opinions of ICA and weigh the evidence and testimony against her but ... completely another if you have a 'rogue attorney' who is not on trial but is badly notorious yet representing.

Is that the Defense strategy -- not so much in-effective counsel given the overall team in play but ... a rogue attorney who polarizes folks and harms the defendant's right to a fair trial -- per even the SAO?

As of right now, it is my opinion, that it will not be hard at all to seat a jury for Casey's trial. The defense wants people to think that everyone follows this case as closely as we do... when that is simply not true. The only people I can talk about this case with are the people here at this forum (Thank God for Webslueths!!). No one in my everyday life follows this case as closely as I do... and most of the people I try to talk to about this case can't believe that this case has not gone to trial yet... they thought it was over. They remember very few details... most just remember "the mother who didn't report her baby missing for 31 days." They don't even remember Casey's name!

I am happy to know that this complaint isn't going to interfere with Casey's trial. I am so ready for May that I can barely stand it!

Florida defense expert William Sheaffer opined today about the seriousness of these complaints. He has experience in matters of the bar.
Sheaffer, who served as the vice chair of the Florida Bar Association's Grievance Committee says, on a scale of one to 10, as charges go, it's a ten. The grievance apparently comes from an accusation made by Casey's parents' former attorney, Brad Conway.

Unfortunately, Mr. Shaffer responded to a question by Kathi Belich in which she gave him WRONG information. KB asked him if JB made a misrepresentation in court that Brad Conway was 'in possession' of evidence that proved that Caylee was not there at the time, how serious would that be? I may have gotten some of the wording wrong, sorry, but KB definitely says 'in possession of', Mr. Shaffer answers that if JB did say BC was in possession and it was untrue.........This happens within the first 3 minutes of the interview.

The problem is that nowhere in his deposition does BC ever say that JB claimed that BC was in possession of anything. BC says two things, first that JB claimed in a motion that BC was given access to TES records under circumstances that were untrue. Further into his deposition he states that JB claimed in court proceedings that BC was AWARE of TES records that were exculpatory, and that was also untrue.

I just hate it when reporters don't double check things! Because KB is main stream local media, people are just going to take what she says at face value and it will make a murky situation even murkier. Get the facts straight or don't do the story - it's as simple as that!

BC will ruuuuue the day he ever met Cindy and George...I think what really happened was that Cindy and George leaked info to JB..and told (JB) the "Courts" he had PROOF...We have always known JB was a baffoon..but he has moved passed that bar and wayyyyyy beyond..Its no wonder there has been abandoning of the ship by the likes of LKB and AL...I wonder what CM thinks of all this??

JB is in deep do-do..and BC has his credibility in jeopardy now...Hummm..I hope that JB gets tossed..so that this whole case doesnt get appealed and they all have to start ALL OVER AGAIN!!..Better to put off the case than put it in any possible line of being repealed!!..

JB best have another way to make a living..Lawyering just isnt part of his distant future :loser:

I didn't listen to the video w/BS I read the article. BC never had that phony doc of LB. MS did. What JB represented to the court was that BC had viewed the TES docs and found many searchers that had searched the area. In part that is true because there were a lot of searchers that did Suburban Drive but not where Caylee was found.

I think he misspoke. :waitasec: My understanding is that JB proffered to the court that BC was in possession of copies of the letter signed by GA & CA and sent to MN rescinding the original waiver of conflict of interest. If that is the case, that letter would not be anything considered exculpatory. Maybe I misunderstood. Wonder if he was alleging that BC KNEW and had seen the LB [forged] Suburban field activity form? Maybe that is it. If that is the case, then that is HUGE lie.

In Conway's transcript, Conway says that Baez represented to the Court that Conway had seen documents, when Conway reviewed the TES files, that would prove that Caylee's body was not there at the remains site on Suburban, and Conway says that is absolutely not true. Conway says he never told Baez anything like that.

HHJP has AFAIK been very informed on this case, and is very aware of all discovery presented. He has also seen JB at his best and worst as well as all of his 'antics'. I wouldn't doubt it if it was JP

No information about an ongoing Bar complaint should be made public.
After the Bar makes a ruling on the complaint - the file is available to anyone who asks for it, for one year - then the file is deleted.
Anyone can ask for copies of previous Bar complaints against any attorney, which has been closed and is not older than one year.

"The computer record will be purged and the file destroyed one year from the date of closing".

Pursuant to Rule 3-7.1(a) Rules of Discipline
Complaint becomes public record, accessible to the public, upon the closure of the case by Bar counsel or upon a finding of no probable cause, minor misconduct, or recommendation of diversion. Disclosure during the pendency of an investigation (while it is open and ongoing) may be made only as to status if a specific inquiry concerning a case is made and if this matter is generally known to be in the public domain.

Anyone wondering if JB is blurring the lines between the propaganda BS he tells the Media on TV and what he tells the Court? It seems that because the Media is there at Court that he is playing to the Media ... forgetting he is actually an Officer of the Court, presenting to the Judge and, it is all on official record in a legal proceeding.
