Florida Bar Allegedly Prepares Case against Baez

  • #401
I watched the video by Mr.Scheaffer (sp).this is really something! I could be wrong but I seem to remember hhJP say he would take over the trial IF he had to. This was early on when B.was "running late" and JP.seemed to be disgusted. I hope I remembered right,it was quite some time ago at one of the hearings.I really think they will wait and hit him later. That was done here after a trial a while ago. :great:

I told y'all she was back to work today and would get to the bottom of it all! Didn't watch the video but the article says it is about him misrepresenting evidence!! :great: I think the fact that he hung up on the reporter who called him is very telling.:loser:

Could someone please provide me with instructions as to how play the audio file for Brad Conway. This link was given: http://www.filefactory.com/file/b53c...BradConway.wma

But, being the computer challenged person that I am, I don't know what to do when I open it. Is there a player that must be downloaded or what?

Any help will be very much appreciated.

I'm shocked JVM or Nancy Grace haven't covered more about the latest "bombshells" this week.

I'd think the parallel investigation, and Florida Bar investigation into Casey's lead attorney falls short of newsworthy for them? ~shrugs~

You know, it's funny you say this because I was just thinking I wonder how JVM is going to spin this. She looves JB. NG always called him "Baez" but JVM actually said last time that "he's a good guy and very smart." I can't stand watching her cover him. If this stuff gets heated up I think NG would cover it.

I don't ever recall Baez saying that Conway had TES documents in his possession, but that he had access to them in a way that he didn't.

From Baez April 7, 2010 letter to Conway:

"As you recall, you also offered to look into the Equusearch files that are in the possession of attorney Mark Nejame. Therefore, we ask that you check their records for the following names: Keith Williams, Roy Kronk, Howard Earl Tate, Cedric Lamont Kirby, and Alphoso Hamilton."

Conway never answered the letter and I can't imagine him having told Baez he had that sort of access.

I would say that whoever filed the complaintant was, the complaint was based on what Conway said in his sworn statement to LE.

I would also add that the two letters released in discovery don't help Baez either since he was trying to do an end-run around the judge to get the TES docs.

I believe that even if Conway did file the Bar complaint (like he should have IMO) .... Conway would NEVER admit that in public. He would open himself up to a defamation lawsuit. If the Bar finds that Baez did nothing wrong in this case, then Conway would have smeared his reputation (if he had one), and Baez would be damaged.

Did Kathi B. say that it was definitely not Conway who filed the complaint?
Or did they play word games and say that Conway did not confirm that he filed the complaint?
I think Conway wants the media attention and public attention off of himself, over this new Bar complaint, and rightly so.

No, Bill Schaeffer. Since he once led the Grievance Committee for the Bar, it sounds like he has been talking behind the scene at the Bar Complaints Committee.

IMVHO I think we should have the original thread with the date from when it was and then a NEW thread with the date from this new complaint. It is really hard to wade through to find where one begins and the other ends. Also, I think since they are two seperate filings it would make more sense for when we need/want to go back to these complaints.

JMO!

I'll listen to it again. I thought it was at the end and Kathi said that her sources confirmed it was not BC. Not another name was mentioned.

Sheaffer talking about Bar complaint

(8:28) Kathi says rules say Conway should have reported this to the Bar
Kathi - "I am told, at least this much, he is not the one who reported it"
Sheaffer - Conway should have told Baez to make it right, and if he didn't then report it to the court
Conway did not take steps to rectify this misrepresentation

In my opinion, that is not a clear, and strong denial on Conway's part that he filed the Bar complaint.... it is just what an unidentified "source" told Kathi B.

Anybody know the date of the Hearing where NeJame was in the courtroom, and Conway was there too, and Baez made the claims that Conway was aware of information in TES documents that would corroborate the Defense claim that Caylee's body was put there while Inmate Casey was in jail?

I'm hung up on the word "confirmed" ..... does not seem to me that Kathi, or her source, or Conway have "confirmed" that Conway did not file the Bar complaint. Just my interpretation of what I heard on the Kathi/Sheaffer video report.

Kathi B said: - "I am told, at least this much, he is not the one who reported it"

I get the impression that Kathi B. was strongly encouraged to include in her reporting that Conway has not told anyone that he filed a Bar complaint.

BrownEyedF on IS says it's:

Hearing from 04/05/10

http://www.wftv.com/video/23056801/index.html Part 1

http://www.wftv.com/video/23057236/index.html Part 2

(I'm just listening now so I haven't verified that yet.

I know that TWA finally found it and posted it in the "Tampering - Who? What? When? Why?" thread a few days ago. First she found one with NeJame & Andrea and then later another one (pretty sure it is the the you are thinking about) with Baez. I did a quick scan but didn't see it immediately. I thnk it was posted a couple of days ago, if that helps.

Yes, and No. I heard Bill say "since Brad did NOT (his emphasis) make this complaint" and no other name - it was my assumption he may have been chatting to "friends".

Right. that's what I get from Conway's transcript.
Conway says that Baez misrepresented to the Court, that Conway "had information" about exculpatory information in the TES documents.

In Conway's transcript -- Conway says that Baez said Conway had access to TES records, had preferential treatment, and "had information that would I guess corroborate their claim that, that Caylee's body wasn't there um, when their client was out of jail. And that was not true."

Conway said: BC - Ah, where the defense made representation that I was aware that there was information in the EquuSearch records that were essentially exculpatory or in other words, they said that the body was.. wasn't there um, while.. the body was not there during the period of time when Caylee.. Casey Anthony was in jail. And (Inaudible)... I certainly did not see that, wasn't aware of it."

I listened to it 3 times....It really concerns me that ICA won't get a fair trial. I hope JB is held to task... I almost feel sorry for KC...what???? Did i say that...I loved the interview with KS and SA.

I didn't listen to Kathy at all - I mean I heard her in the background asking Bill S. questions, but it was his comments I was listening to, not really her. But it was his video I was concentrating on.
