Yes, this is true. That is the truth. It is not set up to help people out. None of the state systems are set up for this type of service. This is unprecedented.
MOO I attribute it to state growth. I moved to FL in 2008 when the state had a population of 18 Million people. We have no industry down here outside of tourism, retail/service. Yet we have more and more people moving to FL every single day. Understandably to avoid paying state taxes. I know a lot of people from CA are moving here for that very reason. What about the rest of those who move down here to eke out a living? Unless you have some serious outstanding computer skills and can work remotely like I can, the only jobs are in service/retail which do not pay a lot of money. And with the pandemic, you can be out of a job very quickly.
