Looking for old cold cases you think may relate to murder evidence found from possibly 1959 - ? ( Maybe late 80's )

11 years ago my Dad & grandpa were turning a bedroom into a bathroom for my great aunt & they came across some odd things after cutting into the closet ceiling. The area it was in, the person cut a square out of the wall & hid it inside the wall above the closet in the dining area. When they cut into the celing it all came falling down.. a old dress with cuts & blood ( maybe prom, party, graduation or something fancy it had tulle underneath ) nylons, ( i think there was a bra- not positive ) a cable robe with 2 metal objects that each had a spring inside tied at each end of the rope, old Modern man magazines from 1959, old Playboy magazines ( model magazines, I can't remember the names of ) & a newspaper with the murderer Harvey Glatman being caught.
My mom turned it into the local police station who passed it along the years to multiple investigators with no luck. They said they destroyed the evidence but I do have a few pictures we took, definitely not the greatest but they're better than nothing.
