Australia - Pheobe Bishop, 17, failed to board a flight from Queensland, Bundaberg, 15 May 2025 *Arrests* #4

It sounds like Levi was in regular communication with Pheobe, all night video chats falling asleep. IMO Pheobe likely told him about her life situation, how she was feeling and can give the police insights on the family & flatmate dynamics.

Devastating :(
So close to a fresh start and bright future.
How very sad for Pheobe’s boyfriend too, the article we have read says Levi lost his mother in a car accident 4 years ago.

The young man has experienced the loss of a mum & a girlfriend in his teenage years, both in the most tragic & senseless ways one can ever lose someone.

I am comforted knowing he has many siblings and seems to have a lot of support, seeing as though a family member flew to attend Pheobes vigil on his behalf.

My heart goes out to you Levi, may your experiences bring you wisdom, compassion & strength and may you be a light for others and know much love in your life.

I can't recall the finer detail but watched a documentary about 'America's Toughest Prisons' and the expert stated that the vast majority of (male) perpetrators were there because they had felt disrespected and reacted in violent rage against the victim. I guess that would come under the category of an argument?

JMO MOO
A lot of the homicides in the US come from personal conflict, but they also have the problem of easy access to guns.

"WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The first systematic, in-depth look at murder and suicide in the United States shows that personal conflicts are the major factor in such deaths, as opposed to random violence or other crime.
Guns are the most commonly used weapons in both murders and suicides, according to the analysis of data from 2007 released on Thursday by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention."

"The pattern that stands out the most is we see a lot of intimate partner violence, mental health problems and substance abuse," said the CDC's Debra Karch, who led the study.
While police and politicians may stress crime-fighting to try to lower murder rates, the study suggests that equipping people to better handle conflict may be more effective.

This news article again references court documents stating her being seen on CCTV walking on airport drive with her luggage.

So it would appear PB did exit the vehicle on Airport Drive but then got back in for some reason

It’s looking like they had an argument. She has exited the vehicle with the intention to walk the rest of the way to the terminal. They have convinced her to get back in a bit further down the road. They've gone to the BMX track likely to continue the argument and this is where she has been killed. Dumped in Saltwater Creek on the way out then moved to GNS 2 days later. Likely to the first GNS site and then the second one within the same trip.

That’s my theory anyway.

The article says police confirm that telecommunications data let them to the site her alleged remains were found - could that be a teaching device the police put on their cars?

They have said they haven’t found her phone.

I say alleged remains as not yet DNA confirmed.
I doubt it. The vehicle was not confiscated until 5 days after PB was due to board her flight. Police have alleged this is the day she was murdered. They also have alleged that the corpse was relocated 2 days after the murder. This means the vehicle would not have had trackers placed on until 3 days after PB's body was dumped in GNSNP. So unless the housemates returned to the scene after receiving the vehicle back from police, it wouldn't be the case. Also, as I touched on in a few earlier posts, it is unlikely this scene was a geolocation. Geo locations are not inaccurate to 9km's and do not identify geographical features. It is more likely that police made this statement to preserve witness testimony.

If sounds to me to be a perfect storm of frayed emotions and mental health/drug issues - broken relationship between the two alleged persons, lost job, weapons charges, eviction notice - headstong teenager, apparently violent male with a fragile ego - it wouldn't have taken much to ignite.

Noting features of the terrain from Google earth and the video supplied of the local area I believe the location they stopped to get out of the car to "give PB some time" will be here. IMOO MOO

There is a shoulder on Airport Dr, however its not really wide enough to pull a vehicle over in, more of a bike lane. Next to the left hand side of the road there seems to be a dirt path.

This is a google earth close up of the culvert that links the swampy area to saltwater creek. See several views for reference.

I think you're on the money mate, the first area you marked is very close to the creek crossing. You wont see it on Google Earth but that crossing is in a depression that offers almost 360 degrees cover from passing traffic.

TB had been given notice as she failed her last inspection . She cut off all contact with the land lord. So presuming she had been given 4 weeks notice to vacate , how long had she been living there after being told to leave?
PB had only recently moved in? I read somewhere under 2 months is that correct? So quite possibly TB allowed her to live there knowing they’d been asked to leave. So the house was already in a neglectful condition . Yet, she still was that desperate that she moved in knowing what it was like. Her room is of similar appearance .
Her roommate was on charges for weapons and she still felt safe to move in.
Did her friends or family members she was close to, ever visit or help her move in to witness these living conditions ? . Not one of them told the mother what was going on? To try take her back to a safer and cleaner place? I know she asked to move in with her dad who denied her a home.
Boarding in a home known to have illegal activities ranging from firearms, alcohol and possibly drug activity . Yet no one could rescue her from these living conditions before her fate. Just sad she couldn’t get out of there straight away .

I’ve said it so many times. No one needed to tell her mother. Her business is 150m from that house and the town is tiny.

This was an entirely preventable tragedy and it’s so important to learn how this happened to stop it happening to another young girl in a small rural town

Theres nowhere really to intentionally stop safely prior either, so I wonder if she bailed out at the intersection or something when they were at a red light? Maybe they've pulled into the saddle road to the BMX track to wait for her because naturally she's walking toward the airport to get her flight still (the sighting?) and they've convinced her to get back into the car to go to the airport and instead, carried on down the road to the culvert.

I’m assuming the home would have been searched by police previously in March to check if the home was housing other weapons? Yet here we are a second charge whilst PB boarded there . I highly doubt there was no sign of alcohol and drug
paraphernalia going by the state of the house. Neighbours calling police due to noise , yet an underage girl was living there which I assume police would have visited on numerous occasions. Yeah let down by the system as well sadly .

The sighting most likely never occured. The sighting of PB walking with suitcases was part of the JW account that we know was fabricated.

I initially thought this too but now I don’t agree. The fact that it’s been listed in court documents as her being seen on CCTV on Airport Drive alongside the sentence of her seen walking with her luggage. Multiple news agencies have reported this only in the last couple of days as per court documents.

But as everything we won’t know unless it goes to trial.

Yes agree however interesting the detective said in a press conference drugs aren’t involved. I guess that doesn’t mean drugs weren’t part of it. Just that they didn’t lead to her death.

These are journalist reports of reports by other journalists. This is a common case of cross-pollination of fact and hearsay. Court documents obtained would not contain any details of the case other then offences charged, location and anything pertaining to justification for the arrest. Only the prosecution and defence teams have access to witness statement of events and no court in the country would allow this to be released to the media prior to criminal proceedings.

They had access to the date and place she was killed and the date she was moved. This didn’t come from thin air. Just as her last offical sighting would be included in that. These are all aspects that pertain to justification for arrest without a body.
Last sighting didn’t come from a witness but from CCTV which is why it is included

  • #159
They’ve had their first court appearance on murder charges. Media would be privy to the prosecution documents to allow that first hearing. Of course they can’t print it all but will have been advised which aspects they can release

You're correct. They would have access to the date and location she was (allegedly) murdered and interfered with. This would have been part of the preliminary brief of evidence. It is required to enact a charge. They also would have been provided the details of her last known sighting which was be CCTV but this was in a vehicle as far as I'm aware.
Unless you've seen something different stating she was captured on CCTV carrying her luggage? Please provide that link if so as that change a lot of things.

As far as I'm aware the courier mail stated: court documents alleged that Phoebe was murdered on airport drive. Close to where she was last seen carrying her baggage.

This is just selective wording. A more accurate description would be: court documents allege that Phoebe was murdered on airport drive. This is close to where she was reportedly seen carrying her baggage.

Correct me if I'm wrong.
