Brevard Co. FL 8/31/21 arrest shows as homeless Melbourne, FL (warning - photo is heartbreaking MOO):

I wonder if she was flying to Melbourne or another FL city. Looking at google flights there are some very expensive flights from New Orleans (MSY) to Melbourne (MLB). But it's hard to check flights if we don't know where she was headed though.

It's also strange that the article shows she spoke to the other person just after 12:00 PM when the police release shows 12:04 AM - wonder which is correct? That would make a difference re flights, and if she was actually flying that day or night:

Wouldn’t an airport have more than the average number of security cameras? Going through security especially. Do we even know if she was actually at the airport at all? Can the airline from whom she purchased the ticket confirm she did indeed have a ticket, and if it was used or not? I wonder if family or friends could get that info from the airline or if LE would need to? I see it says in the above that she called from a phone at the airport - meaning not a cell phone if that is correct. Does she have a cell phone? I’m thinking not if she did indeed call from a “pay”? phone at the airport.

It just seems if she was actually at the airport her presence and movements would be tracked on security cameras, not to mention it would be easily determined if she boarded any flight.

Just MOO and speculation at this point. Hoping she is found soon and safe.

I was just going to say this...you'd think that the cameras would reveal a great deal, such as how she seemed (upset, calm, etc), if she met or spoke to anyone, where she stepped out of the building (if she did).

Can't find any updates online.

I can’t either @CastlesBurning it’s just so strange. Airports would have more cameras than about anywhere I can think of.

An airline can be subpoenaed for their passenger manifest to show whether or not a person was on a flight. Normally the subpoena is issued if there is a criminal investigation associated with the disappearance. Unfortunately, someone just being out of contact may not make it a "criminal" investigation. Additionally, this is only true for so long as the airline maintains those records. Sometimes they keep them for a few months and sometimes only for a few weeks so if weeks have gone by from the date last in contact to the date of the report they may not have any records ( international flights involving border crossings would have different rules). As for security cameras, most people think TSA "owns" those records. TSA is not the primary custodian of those records and would not have any videos unless the TSA obtained them as a result of an alleged checkpoint incident or security breach. Those security video records would have to be subpoenaed from the local airport authority. However, they generally delete recordings after 30 days.
