Littermaid...Littermaid....LittermaidOMG...I just had to share this one since we're all talking about how our households and family have been neglected due to our obsessions with this case. My two cats have one of those litter boxes that is enclosed on all sides and has built in "odor control" filters all around it so the smell is very rarely noticable - but then again I used keep it very clean. Anyway, I keep the litterbox upstairs in an area that we don't use too much to further keep it out of sight (and smell). Well today my most mischievious kitty decided to remind me that the litter box had been neglected due to my case obsession. I was sitting at my desk which is in an open area near the landing at the top of the stairs when suddenly I heard a small thump near my feet. I looked down and he had thrown a "missle" from the litterbox at me from upstairs!!! He was just perched up their looking down on me with such disdain while I kept looking around between him and the litter-covered "missle" by my feet!! Needless to say I immediately went and cleaned the litterbox!!! I must add that I have always been meticulous about keeping the litterbox clean, so the missle shot was a big blow to my self-esteem and has made me question my sanity now!! LOL!!!!:floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh::floorlaugh:

Great story, wishingtree. :clap::clap::clap:

The automatic rake works wonders, and number 1 & 2 are safely secured in the closed plastic container, with ionic air cleaners, and carbon filter(model I have)

That's what I have, but I had to take the rake out (which was the whole purpose in buying it!) because one of the cats was terrified of it. I even had it set to rake only every 15 minutes, but ever since the time he saw it in action he refused to get anywhere near it!! He finally came back around after a couple of weeks with the rake being gone - weirdo!! So now the only advantage I get from my very expensive (as you know!) Littermaid is the air cleaners and carbon filters!! And in return I get sh** missles thrown at me!!! Crazy little brat!!!:cat: LOL!
How much was that thing. I have 5 cats and 4 babies (4 days old) now and let me tell you it is a constant battle in this house.
I have 3 covered boxes in house, but they always stink.
P.s. Do any of you love the line they form while you are cleaning the litter box to get in there and dirty it all up again? GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.

Actually no.
