Rest in peace little Fiona.
Unconfirmed but a serious TV channel has just announced that the mother has told police that Fiona died after an "accident". Drug related?

Stepfather beat her to death according to mother's lawyer.

Some translated exerpts:
Despite Cecile's recreation of the events in the park, Cecile and girls were not in the park the day Cecile said Fiona went missing.
Another troubling element, a couple of days prior to Fiona's disappearance, Cecile and her companion did internet searches of past media reports about missing children.
The five people currently in custody had partied (drunk) the night before, or the night prior to that, Fiona supposedly disappeared.
Investigators believe something happened that night of the party. That the little girl could have died having absorbed Subatex, a substitution for heroin, during an evening with addicts.
Oh no!
(What did her mother think, that this would all blow over? Where was the other child when this drunken party was taking place? What did they see? hear? What of the unborn child, gosh, imagine knowing that as your mother carried you she participated in the murder, and disposal, of your oldest sibling?
So what did the mother think? Now she accuses the man she allowed to accompany the younger child whilst they were being questioned of beating the older one to death. After this, they did a quick internet search on missing children, what did they look under "most convincing story"? The trip to the doctor- to buy some time?
Then, dispose of "the body", -geez!- and start lying.
Lie and lie and lie. Accuse, "abusers", at some point give birth.
Fiona's death must have been a horrible accident. A terrible event, when they drank too much and things got out of control. Very sad, I won't let that happen again. No, we will pass through the storm, and emerge as a happy little family. He won't tell, and I won't tell, and there is a new baby, we will have a new life, in a new town, and put murdering my beautiful innocent baby girl right behind us.
I hope she is never released. And that one day she truly sees what she is, and what she has done.
