So tragic and the worst nightmare for parents, family and friends..
A young girl vanished in broad daylight, from a 10 minute walk from school to her house..and found brutally murdered.
RIP sweetie, I do hope they find & punish the 🤬🤬🤬 who did this to you,and your family!

It is stated in several msm articles, that she has been found with stab wounds.

“Prosecutors added that there wasn’t evidence to suggest there was sexual violence.”

If no sexual violence... perhaps she fought enough to give the perp a reason to abort and felt he had to kill.

Terrible thing to have happened to such a young girl. Deepest sympathies to her parents and other family members.

Really hope it wasn't someone closer to her age as there seems to be a lot of children committing heinous crimes against one another recently.
Everytime I come on here I hope to NOT see a thread about a child that's been murdered, sadly, I don't think there's ever been a day when that has happened.

Heartbreaking xx

The previous POI seems to be arrested again..
And it sounds like the mother was covering for her son, given him a false alibi...

A mother and her son were taken into police custody for murder of a minor under the age of 15 and failure to report the crime on Monday, February 10.

A 23-year-old man is in custody for murder of a minor under the age of 15, while a 55-year-old woman has been taken into custody for failure to report a crime.

The young man is already known to the police for minor crimes, BFMTV has learned, again confirming Le Parisien.

Louise was described by a friend as a “funny and intelligent” girl

Four people are in custody in connection with Louise’s death

One girl described Louise to TF1 as “funny, intelligent and she loved her friends, she was everything to us".

And a concerned mother told the outlet: “We're completely shocked. We're shocked. We can't imagine that this kind of thing could happen next door to us.”

Grrrrrrr

This could have been prevented!!!!
The parents of the suspect,...I have no words for them..just utterly disgust and shocked.
Also many questions for the Police..

Here is what the sister of the suspect says:

"Our colleagues from Le Parisien indicate that the suspect's little sister also recognized her brother in the photo taken from the video surveillance. This young girl also stated that her brother had the same jacket and cap as the man in the photo. Clothes that were not found by investigators at his home."

" The investigation also showed that Owen L. had already been " very violent " towards his little sister, beating her up several times in front of her parents. This is why he is known to the police. According to Le Parisien, the teenager reportedly confided that she was afraid of "dying" under her brother's blows."

Mobile mystérieux, griffures sur les mains : qui est Owen L., le suspect du meurtre de Louise ?

It also stated that his DNA is found on Louise's body and he had scratches, described as a game addict and his parents, or his mother and patner provided him with a false alibi. At least they were all were arrested..

Thb, I don't know for certain if they were the first arrested couple in this case, like I stated earlier...I am a bit confused about that, but that it keeps happening again and again, that this too could have been prevented, Imo.

"He is the number one suspect in the investigation into the sordid murder of Louise , 11, on Friday in Longjumeau (Essonne). Owen L., the 23-year-old man whose DNA was found on the teenager's body , was arrested on Monday evening in Épinay-sur-Orge, in the neighborhood where the schoolgirl lived, and taken into custody"

An article in English, with a map

This sounds very bad, putting it mildly:

Beating up his little sister in front of their parents, and they didn't put a stop to that? And it was bad enough for the police to find out and presumably put it on record?

I hope more information becomes known. I find the newspaper articles a bit confusing so far.

RIP Louise.

A more recent article in German:

The suspect has admitted the crime.
The parents and girlfriend of the suspect are still in custody.

Please use Google translate for more details.

So am I to understand this adult man child "gamer" was allowed to remain in the household with the same teen sister he beat in front of his parents? Surely not? And then they proceeded to provide him a false alibi for the murder of Louise? And this failure to launch has a girlfriend, who also provided false alibi for the suspect?

What on earth have people come to??

A family shielding a violent member from consequences is nothing new.

If they would ignore such actions against his own sister, then a complete stranger, this victim, no big deal to protect him regarding her. They've already put him first for his whole life.

I am still stuck at the he viciously assaulted his own younger sister in front of the parents and they let him stay.

I am more convinced now, that we're talking about the same first arrested couple and he was released, because he was supposedly logged in - online at home,in the same neighbourhood, where Louise was found, and his patner provided an alibi...

"Owen L., aged 23, is described as "an online video game addict" and lives in Épinay-sur-Orge, very close to Louise's parents' home. According to our information, he was registered in the criminal history processing file (TAJ) for snatch theft."
Meurtre de Louise, 11 ans : le suspect, Owen L., est passé aux aveux

His full name is published :

"Owen Legrand is already known to the police for acts of violence and theft."

"A vague schedule on the day of the tragedy

Traces of scratches and cuts on his hands

A down jacket similar to the one seen in the CCTV footage"

His DNA is found on Louise's hands/body

"Also a press conference would be held to provide an update on the progress of the investigation."
