MALIK, MISSING SINCE FIVE YEARS: THE PAINFUL HOPE

Le Dauphiné.com
http://webcache.googleusercontent.c...ir+&cd=1&hl=nl&ct=clnk&gl=nl&client=firefox-b

As if it wasn't hard enough already... The holiday season brings the same pain to Dalila, sister of Malik Boutvillain, every year." He always loved Christmas. And I've hated Christmas ever since he left."

Probably not as much as their mother, Badra." I'm Muslim and religious. I love all feasts. But it's over now. I don't bake cakes any more, for example: I don't have the taste, I have no more taste for anything, no more cravings. It's too hard..."

On Presidential Election Day 2012, Badra went to host a polling station. Her son Malik, who had returned to live at home (but was planning to take an apartment), was still at home when she closed the door of this warm Essarts home in Ville-Neuve in Échirolles. He wasn't there when she came back. "He left on foot, in shorts and T-shirt, without his papers or phone. Doesn't sound like someone who wants to start a new life!"

An unexplained disappearance, investigations that the family considers insufficient (no criminal investigation has ever been opened), no clues, no leads: Malik Boutvillain has evaporated. "It's the void," Badra sums up. "It's too hard to live with: five years of depression, denial... When I leave, as soon as I come back, I look if he's there: five years like that is too much."

In this daily life plagued by pain and uncertainty, there is now a tiny hope. Like eight other families in the region, also affected by unexplained disappearances, Malik's family has reacted to what is now known as the "Nordahl Lelandais case".

This Savoyard, indicted in connection with the disappearance of Maëlys in Pont-de-Beauvoisin, is also the number one suspect in the murder of Corporal Noyer in Chambéry. Hence imagining the disastrous journey of a serial killer..."We don't know. Everything is possible, Chambéry is not far away. The Malik investigation is officially closed, but when we saw the press conference about Corporal Noyer, we thought we were going to call the Departmental Security."

The police officer who followed Malik's case had the same idea as the family. "He told us that he passed his file on to Chambéry." Dalila does not hide from this fact: she hopes, finally, "the opening of a judicial inquiry. It would be a chance to have information."

Nordahl Lelandais crossing paths with her brother: a credible hypothesis?" Who knows who knows? We're lost, we don't know where to turn. Our life has become a big waiting room," Badra sums up. "We've been at the same point for five years now: nothing," Dalila adds. So, this investigation in Savoie is a way for them to make their fight alive. "The worst for us is forgetting. We don't want Malik to be forgotten."

Malik, that boy "so sensitive, kind, the person who would help everyone. The love of our life!" Malik, whose disappearance "eats their brains". Malik, his family is waiting." First we counted hours, days, months, and now years."

So, credible or not, the Lelandais development is a chance for them. That of knowing, finally. "Because we can survive anything. But not knowing is the worst part."

Malik Boutvillain Born in Echirolles on 24 February 1980, Malik Boutvillain grew up in the Ville-Neuve district: Collège Jean-Vilar, Edison High School, where he studied electrical engineering. After living in the Ardèche for eight years, he returned to Échirolles in 2010. He lived with his mother until he could finance his own housing. Malik Boutvillain, diagnosed with schizophrenia in 2007, was on a treatment that allowed him to be integrated." He was gentle and very sociable, everyone loved him,"says his sister. contact If you have any information about Malik, you can call +33 (0)6 03 62 46 64.

NORDAHL LELANDAIS WAS ABROAD WHEN ESTELLE MOUZIN DISAPPEARED

France Info
https://www.francetvinfo.fr/faits-d...de-la-disparition-de-la-fillette_2536775.html

Nordahl Lelandais was abroad, as part of his military duties, at the time of the disappearance of little Estelle Mouzin in 2003 in Guermantes (Seine-et-Marne), France Info heard from judicial source on Friday 29 December. Evidence to that effect was provided by the army to investigators. Nordahl Lelandais's involvement in the disappearance of Estelle Mouzin is therefore "closed".

Estelle Mouzin's father had asked the judges investigating the case to investigate Nordahl Lelandais. After he was arrested in connection with the disappearance of Maëlys during a marriage in Pont-de-Beauvoisin (Isère) during the night of 26-27 August 2017, Nordahl Lelandais became also the suspect of murdering a young soldier in Savoie, Arthur Noyer, who disappeared on 12 April.

Eric Mouzin had told France Info that he is making the same kind of request to the investigating magistrates of his file for each new disappearance case.

Okay - I took Estelle Mouzin off the list, same with Nicolas Suppo, oh, and also the family killed in the Alps.

Nordahl Lelandais was stationed in Suippes (Marne), in the 132nd Army Dog Battalion, between 2002 and 2007.

The ex-military is "noticed" in October 2008, with two accomplices, engaging in a battle of eggs and fruits in a supermarket, by burning tricolor flags, and a restaurant in Paladru (Isère). He will be sentenced to one year in prison. (October 2009 ?)

At the end of April 2009, he was sentenced to 30 months in prison, 12 of which were closed for burglary and burning a year earlier, along with others, a restaurant on Lake Paladru in northern Isère. He was released on parole in October 2010. Wondering "what" day he was released, as Adrien was killed; was he anxious to kill again on the 6th?

Adrien Fiorello, a 22-year-old student who disappeared on 6 October 2010 while he was on his way to university in Chambery (Savoie).

Nelly Balmain was 29 when she disappears on 8 August 2011 in Saint-Jean-en-Royans.

Jean-Christophe Morin, 23, disappeared in 9 - 10 September 2011 at Fort Tamié (Savoie).

Malik Boutvillain, 32, disappeared on 6 May 2012 in Echirolles (Isère).

Hugo Raffi, 28 years old missing from Albertville since 15 June 2012

Ahmed Hamadou, 45, disappeared in 7 - 8 September 2012 at Fort Tamié (Savoie).

Stéphane Chemin, 33 years old, disappeared on 24 September 2012 in Bourg-d' Oisans (Isère),

Florent Bonnet, 37 years old, who disappeared on 18 January 2014 in Bourg-Saint-Maurice (Savoie).

Eve Monteil, 49 years old, on 25 August 2014, in Bourg-en-Bresse (Ain).

Nordine Seghiri, 49, disappeared on 10 July 2015 from a hospital in Chambéry (Savoie).

Anne-Charlotte Poncin, 30 years old evaporated on 5 January 2016 in Ambérieu-en-Bugey (Ain).

Ilhan Sahingoz, 39 years old missing from Albertville since 11 April 2016

Olivier Charpe, 59, never returned from a mountain bike ride on 12 August 2016 in Saint-Romans (Isère)

Arthur Noyer, 23 years old, disappeared in 11 - 12 April 2017 in Chambéry (indicted for this murder)

Adrien Mourialmé, 24 years old, disappeared in 5 July 2017 on the shores of Lake Annecy (Haute-Savoie).

Maëlys De Araujo, 9 years old, disappeared at Pont-de-Beauvoisin in 27 August 2017 (indicted for this murder)

Maëlys De Araujo, 9 years old, disappeared at Pont-de-Beauvoisin in 27 August 2017 (indicted for this murder)

I think in the case of Adrian Fiorello, the day he vanished, he was supposed to go to university classes in Saint-Etienne, but didn't. Instead, his phone pinged in Chambéry (train station) at 5:37 p.m. He had no apparent reason to be in Chambéry that day, since his classes were in a city 150 km away.

On October 6, 2010, Adrien left Firminy (Loire) as every morning, heading to the law school in Saint-Etienne. Except the student never entered the classroom there.

But his mobile phone was in Chambéry, the same evening at 17 h 37. Very quickly, the official investigation indicates a worrying disappearance. "Our son always used to warn us. However, it was discovered on his computer, shortly after his disappearance that he was interested in this area. "

Missing, never returned ...

There are at least fifteen disturbing disappearances in recent years in Savoie, Haute-Savoie and Isère. The families want to know if Nordahl L., indicted for the assassination of the little Maëlys and a young soldier, would not have crossed the path of their close one.

This October 6, 2010 is a day that begins like the others for Adrien Fiorello (22 years old). He leaves his home on Firminy in the Loire and goes to the bus stop. An hour's drive to Saint-Etienne where he studied law. He is preparing a master's degree, plans to enroll in a clerk's school in Agen. Boy who practices martial arts, solid physique (1.90 m). "Balanced and healthy," sums up Marie-France, his mother. Who continues: "When you told me that your newspaper was Swiss, I thought of Terre des hommes, Adrien wanted to engage with them, to have a humanitarian experience. He had a big heart. "

Her son had no secrets for her. Quiet life, punctuated by lessons and sports. The gendarmerie say that he had made a name (or rather a nickname) on the Internet commenting and summarizing brilliantly FC Barcelona matches, "but the hidden face of my son was limited to that."

Seven years without news:

This day of October 2010, Adrien's phone pinged for the last time at 17h37 in Chambery, Savoie, 160 km from home. "What was he doing so far instead of being in college? We do not know anyone there, no family, no friends. We had an appointment the same evening, he would not have gone away without telling me," wonders again today Marie-France.

Seven years without news. No trace of life, no death either. The investigation lasted a year. The family then turned to the Association Assistance for the Search for Missing Persons (ARPD) and a private detective. Marie-France and her husband Salvatore have contacted Fiorellos across Europe in case their son had contacted a distant relative. Without any result. Time has passed, slow, overwhelming.

These days, there is again agitation among the Fiorello. The phone keeps ringing, the front door too. Journalists essentially. Going back and forth that gives hope, returns years back, makes tears flow too. When she learned that Nordahl L., the suspect in the kidnapping of the small Maëlys at the end of August in Isère, had been indicted on December 20 for the murder of Arthur Noyer, a young soldier also missing in Chambéry (during the night of April 11 to 12, 2017), Marie-France Fiorello immediately made a connection with the story of her son. The press quickly evoked the hypothesis of a serial killer.

Adrian Mourialmé vanished in July 2017:

Talloires, pretty village at the foot of the Tournette massif (2351 m), on Lake Annecy. The streets are empty, winter has driven tourists. Some will return after the holidays, "especially Swiss who practice the paddle," says a man. He holds the Comptoir de Seb, a brewery. He also owns the Villa des Fleurs, an upscale hotel. "Are you coming for the disappeared?" He asks straight away.

Adrien Mouralmié, a 24-year-old Belgian cook he had just hired at the Villa des Fleurs, has not given any sign of life since 4 July 2017. His belongings remained in his room. His bank account and phone did not have any activity. He called his mother every day. He expressed his willingness to start his own business in Namur and amass money in the meantime. The French authorities warned his mother that the investigators were looking at the Nordahl L. hypothesis.

The boss of Comptoir de Seb: "The lake was searched and it did not give anything. It's this Nordahl who did that, it looks like the others."

"When we have new elements like these, families want them to be investigated thoroughly to finally know the truth," said Bernard Valezy, a police officer who is responsible for the Rhône-Alpes ARPD. The association requests the opening of a national file of disappearances that would be managed by an interministerial delegation. In the meantime, it supports families, provides advice, uses social networks.

Bernard Valezy also shares the case of 49-year-old Nordine Seghiri, who died in July 2015 around the Chambéry hospital where he was being treated. "His skull and bones were found in May 2016 in La Ravoire, 7 km from the hospital. The investigation found a natural death. The family has never believed in this, let alone now," says the policeman.

Another family, the Suppo family, wonders today if Nordahl L. would not have crossed the path of their son. Nicolas, 30, disappeared in Echirolles (Isère) on September 15, 2010. Gone without papers, no payment, no clothes and leaving his apartment intact. "He was a skilled worker, he took his break as usual and then vanished," says Yves, his father. The file has been closed. He asks for its reopening.

Should I add him back in??

Any news on "when" NL will be back in court? I thought it was sometime in January!

TIA!

Nicolas Suppo:

The ARPD, an association that conducts research into unsolved disappearances, has identified 19 cases in which Nordahl Lelandais may have crossed paths with the missing. A dozen families have asked the help of its members to verify the alibis of the man indicted for the murder of little Maëlys and the murder of Arthur Noyer.

However, for further investigations to be carried out in the light of the arrest of the 30-year-old NL back in September, it is necessary that an investigation be already open, or that the prosecutor agree to its reopening.

This (reopening of such an investigation) was requested by the parents of Nicolas Suppo, who disappeared in September 2010, about fifty kilometers from Domessin (Savoie), the Lelandais' hometown.

Hmmm.... I only have 16 cases listed. Wondering what the "other" 3 are?

I have been searching for that list of the 19 missing cases put together by the organization for the missing, and I can't find it.

Irony supreme.

Hmmm.... I only have 16 cases listed. Wondering what the "other" 3 are?

Maybe Kevin Fauvel? His uncle, who is from the area, made a request.

On the night of April 1 to 2, 2012, 27-year-old Kévin Fauvel left the community of Jansiac, located in Châteauneuf-Miravail, in the Jabron Valley. Since then, his family has no news.

The young man had neither a mobile phone nor a means of payment. He was also used to hitchhiking. The day of his disappearance, Kévin was heading to his parents' home, in Bretagne, to spend the Easter holidays with family.

FIFTEEN YEARS AFTER HER DISAPPEARANCE, THE FATHER OF ESTELLE MOUZIN HAS NO ILLUSIONS

Midi Libre.fr
http://www.midilibre.fr/2018/01/06/...re-d-estelle-mouzin-sans-illusion,1610555.php

No witnesses, no leads and a file so heavy that it has become unusable: fifteen years after the disappearance of Estelle, 9 years of age, Eric Mouzin has no illusions. But he wants to change a "system" of investigation that he considers ineffective.

You don't need to expect him to spill over his pain. When asked if he still has hope, this industrial risk expert puts forward statistics: "The only thing we can say is that children are usually murdered in the hours or days following their abduction. For the rest, we are in the absolute fantasy because we have no information. And this is unbearable. There are exceptions, but they are absolutely not representative."

Fifteen years ago, rubber boots on his feet, he had been walking around Guermantes, a village in the Seine-et-Marne region, where the youngest of his three children disappeared on January 9,2003 at 6:15 p. m., when she was returning from school on an icy night. He then made Estelle's face known to the whole of France, through posters posted in public places, airports, post offices or the corridors of the Paris metro.

A simultaneous search of the 400 dwellings in Guermantes, a vast sweep of anti-pedophilia networks, the exploration of all the cavities of this quarry-rich corner of Ile-de-France: at the time, the police had called for "unprecedented" and "colossal" means. Eric Mouzin, on the other hand, says he is "sure and certain that not everything has been done to the full in the first moments". On the other hand, "there has been a lot of communication: how many times have we been given something new a few days before 9 January or 25 May, Missing Children's Day?"

Nevertheless, the police officers are, in his opinion, less to blame than "the system", particularly the "lack of method and organization" of the initial investigations, which renders the files unusable over time. The police, through the Central Office for the Suppression of Violence against Persons, are still working on about 15 unsolved disappearances.

To facilitate the processing of Estelle's case, her father and his lawyers have been demanding for years that the judicial police in Versailles, in charge of the investigation, hand over "a summary record of the last operations" to the investigating judge. In vain. Likewise, like what was done in Maddie's file, a little English girl who disappeared in Portugal in 2007, they asked for a complete re-reading of the file with a fresh eye. "Judge No. 5 - we're actually on the seventh one - told me it would take ten years. Which means they're no longer trying to solve the case."

Far from dedicating himself exclusively to the case of his daughter, Eric Mouzin worked within the association "Estelle", doing a job of "putting things in perspective", especially by travelling abroad to see what was being done there. The one who also gave a decisive impetus to the implementation in 2006 of the Abduction Alert system gave the Keeper of the Seals a series of proposals in May. Among them, the creation of a body of judges specialized in children's disappearances, such as the financial, anti-terrorism or health departments.

The document seems to have ended up in a drawer. "I will start showing my fangs," Eric Mouzin warns. He will hold a press conference on Tuesday, the anniversary of the disappearance. In the meantime, he had to swallow the news that he learned from the press that the trail of Nordahl Lelandais, named after the suspect in the Maëlys case, had yielded nothing.

The disappearance of this little girl, at the end of August in Isère has moved him. "Parents, yes, they suffer. But the child who gets abducted..."
Maëlys is the same age as Estelle when she disappeared, 9 years old. In their misfortune, her parents still have "material evidence" to move the investigation forward, he says. "We have nothing."

A GENTLE AND UNDERSTANDING PERSON: NORDAHL LELANDAIS DESCRIBED BY HIS FIRST LOVE, ADELINE

Ici.fr
https://www.lci.fr/faits-divers/sep...-1-de-l-affaire-maelys-se-confie-2075345.html

He has been at the heart of suspicions for several months now. Nordahl Lelandais, the main suspect in the disappearance of Maëlys, last August in Isère, then indicted for the assassination of the soldier Arthur Noyer, is the subject of many interrogations. For the first time, his first great love, Adeline, evokes the character and personality of this former army dog handler.

For five months now, all eyes have been on Nordahl Lelandais, the main suspect in the disappearance of the nine-year-old Maëlys, who has been missing since 27 August this year at a wedding in the commune of Pont-de-Beauvoisin, in Isère. He was indicted for "disappearance" and "murder" in this case and is also suspected of being implicated in the assassination of a soldier, Arthur Noyer, last April, and two men in 2011 and 2012, during a music festival. He was indicted for "assassination" on 30 November.

For Sept à Huit, the first great love of Nordahl Lelandais, Adeline, agreed to tell their joint story for the first time. At the time of their meeting, the young man was 16 years old, she 14 and they were more than four years together. According to her, Nordahl Lelandais was "a gentle, understanding person".

"It was someone who made me laugh. He was a beautiful person, a funny one, always friendly... We had our circles of friends, we went out, we went to the lake, we went for walks, it was a magnificent relationship," according to the young woman, who shared the daily life of the former dog-handler, integrated into his family and also who remained his friend, even after their separation.

The young woman also returned to the character of Nordahl Lelandais, who is often described as violent. "He is someone who has never laid his hand on me, who has never shouted at me, who has never insulted me," she explains, acknowledging that he is also "someone with a temperament, someone who will not let himself be pushed around."
"He's someone who has a strong character, but not someone who's aggressive or mean. The Nordahl that has been described lately is not at all the one I have known," Adeline concludes.

Dark hair, dark eyes, fine, clear eyebrows. Her mouth looks like that of Maëlys IMHO. Adeline, the one who got away.

So, has he been indicted for these 2 men also??

I added this guy:

On the list in post #656 - they only have 14 names, I now have 17, but not Estelle on it. Should I add her back in?

on that list (post 656) they do not have:
Nelly Balmain was 29 when she disappears on 8 August 2011 in Saint-Jean-en-Royans.

Kévin Fauvel, 27, on the night of April 1 to 2, 2012, left the community of Jansiac, located in Châteauneuf-Miravail, in the Jabron Valley. Since then, his family has no news.

Hugo Raffi, 28 years old missing from Albertville since 15 June 2012

Ilhan Sahingoz, 39 years old missing from Albertville since 11 April 2016

and if I'm going to add Estelle back in - can someone translate this:
Estelle Mouzin, 9 ans, a disparu le 9 janvier 2003 à Guermantes (Seine-et-Marne), vers 18 heures entre sa maison et son école. Nordahl Lelandais avait alors 19 ans, il se trouvait au camp militaire de Suippes (Marne), à 150 kilomètres de là mais aurait été envoyé en mission vers l'Est au moment de cette disparition. La piste a donc été écartée.

or is this a "good" translation:
Estelle Mouzin, 9, disappeared on January 9, 2003 in Guermantes (Seine-et-Marne), around 6 pm between her house and her school. Nordahl Lelandais was 19 years old, he was at the military camp of Suippes (Marne), 150 kilometers away but was sent on a mission to the East at the time of the disappearance. The track was therefore discarded.

If I add Estelle I'll have 18 on the list.

Nordahl Lelandais has been excluded in the disappearance of Estelle Mouzin because he was abroad with the army at the time. Plus IMHO he still had a girlfriend, Adeline.

He has not been indicted for the two men missing from the festival, but possible links to their cases are being investigated. NL is a POI in these cases.

As for the other names on the list, I still cannot find the ARPD list. (List of missing still missing!) Perhaps they chose not to publish it, possibly because there are families who do not want the public attention, do not want reporters knocking on their door.

IMHO Kévin Fauvel is a very long shot, he might have disappeared anywhere between Jansiac and Bretagne, a distance of over 1000 kms, and contrary to what his uncle claims, the route via Chambéry is a detour and not obvious at all. Would have been different if his phone had pinged there, but he did not have a phone. IMHO if there is nothing that puts Kévin Fauvel in Chambéry at that date, NL may or my not have been there that day, but that does not prove a thing.

I took a look at the disappearance of one of the men on the list.
Florent Bonnet disappeared around January 18, 2014 in Bourg-Saint-Maurice.

The circumstances of his disappearance are odd to say the least.
IMHO it looks as if he had already disappeared before he disappeared for good:

From the website of ARPD
http://www.arpd.fr/actualite/disparition-inquietante-majeurs/1/

On January 18th, the gendarmes of Bourg-Saint-Maurice discovered a Yamaha 600 ZF6 motorcycle, with a helmet on it, near the Siaix tunnel. But no trace of its owner.

Searches have identified him but not found him. He is a 37 year old resident of Bourg, born in Nice: Florent Bonnet. He has been living in the town of Bourg since 2011, working as a kitchen help, probably without being declared. The place of his professional activity is obviously not known. The exact date of his disappearance could not be determined.

Hence the difficulty of searching, especially since the disappeared person had no family in Bourg-Saint-Maurice, no social relationships, and lived alone in a studio.

The gendarmes of Bourg-Saint-Maurice therefore launched a call for witnesses.

And that is all there is. Can't find anyone who is looking for him, no FB-page for instance. If he worked as a kitchen help (if) surely someone must miss him and be able to tell more? Did he work as a kitchen help? Or something else, was he dealing drugs - not unheard of. Either way, if he worked illegally, did they pay him cash, did he take his money with him?
Unless of course, whatever happened, happened wherever he might have worked. They left his motorbike near the tunnel as a red herring.

IMHO this looks more like a case that is either work-related or he disappeared of his own free will. A possible involvement of Nordahl Lelandais seems much further down the list. (Imagine NL picking him up near the tunnel. There will be CCTV in the area, plus he has to deal with someone who was riding a motorbike and wearing the suit that comes with it. That is very difficult to get rid of.)
