Not sure whose petite amie Anouchka is... David's in the previous paragraph, or Nordahl's?

"Anouchka A., whom he presents as his current girlfriend, wondered "if Nordahl had been touched/molested during his childhood. I spoke once to his mother, she told me she had asked herself the same question. She had put Nordahl into "sport-études." At first, it went well, but then he cried and did not want to go anymore. Subsequently, the director (directeur de l'établissement) was fired for touching students. This is why Mrs Lelandais has this doubt (suspicion?) too. "

Taking a break... not sure how to continue...

There was something found, from 2012:

En revanche, Nordahl Lelandais est inconnu du fichier judiciaire des auteurs d’infractions sexuelles. Les enquêteurs n’ont pas trouvé trace de penchants pédophiles, mais notent une conversation sur Facebook avec une adolescente de 14 ans en 2012, dans laquelle « il apparaît clairement qu’il avait l’optique de séduire la jeune fille ».

He "conversed " with a 14 year old girl on Facebook back in 2012.

Basically, he sucked at being in the military and nobody liked him? Kidding... Here's my attempt:

In April 2001, he joined the 132nd dog battalion of Suippes (Marne), where he did not leave an imperishable memory/a good impression.

"He had no place being in the army, summarizes a superior. He disobeyed orders, he disappeared, he was a stink ball, a real concern in my section. "
"He was not stupid at all, but he was lazy. I clearly had the impression that he wanted to get hurt to get a pension," says another officer, who recalls an "unstable guy," capable of "losing it," who had "once left his office, and began to beat his fists on a door."

"Disappointing by his behavior, Corporal Lelandais no longer has the confidence/trust of his superiors. He is not available at all and no longer has a professional military attitude," summarizes the last page of notes. He had enlisted for five years, he only lasted four, and was struck off in April 2005. He will have had time to obtain a basic certificate of dog handler, to perform two missions of four months in Guyana, where he was in charge of the night guard of an ammunition depot, and to be caught with half a barrette of cannabis resin and three grams of grass."

More interviews with friends about what a great guy he was, then this:

"This ambivalence is confirmed with the discovery of a secret part of his intimate life. In the context of the Maëlys affair, the gendarmes were led to hear Richard K., who met Nordahl Lelandais on the Internet "late 2015, early 2016": "We saw each other several times, it was only for sexual relations. Always in the same place, at the edge of the Aiguebelette lake, in a very quiet place."

This young man "fell from the clouds" on hearing that his "plan cul " was a suspect: "I do not know him more than that, but there was nothing threatening about him. He was always kind to me. I think he's a guy who is a little lost. I know he's straight and I think he only had that kind of relationship with me." Obviously, no: the investigation reveals at least one relationship with a gay couple on August 15, 2017."

Interesting articles renarde!!

So on the date timeline that I have - I've corrected the first part to this:

Nordahl Lelandais in April 2001, he joined the 132nd dog battalion of Suippes (Marne). He had enlisted for five years, he only lasted four, and was struck off in April 2005. Re another article says: He will have had time to obtain a basic certificate of dog handler, to perform two missions of four month was stationed in Suippes (Marne), in the 132nd Army Dog Battalion, between 2002 and 2007.

Where I mention "another article says" that's what I had the beginning of this case. But I see in one of the articles you posted it said 2001 to 2005 April. So I added that.

So, next time he comes to court would be in March? or ??

TIA!

.

"The episode (getting caught with marijuana while in the military) is just part of the list of cases for which Nordahl Lelandais was already known. The list also includes theft of fuel or car radios in the garage (where he was interning?) in CAP Carosserie (body shop? before his years in the military). The main part of his criminal record dates from 2008. One night in October, he and two friends break into the snack bar La Plage, on the edge of Lake Paladru, spread gasoline and throw a lighted candle.

"We acted like total idiots, like three kids who got bored and who, in a state of drunkenness, on a whim, set a fire," he told the gendarmes.
The building is totally destroyed and Nordahl Lelandais is sentenced to one year in prison - served in the end with an electronic bracelet - and the nickname "Nono le Pyro", which is added to "Nono le Barjo". In February 2017, he exemplifies this nickname during an altercation in a parking lot with another motorist, where he ends up slashing a tire with a knife. Four months suspended (?)"

I just added that because I hadn't seen that February 2017 episode mentioned before. Zazara, feel free to correct my translation, as I was unsure of certain terms. For example, did Nordahl ever go to prison, or did he just have an ankle monitor after the arson? If he was wearing an ankle monitor in 2009, wouldn't LE be able to tell if he was anywhere near Coralie Moussu, or anyone else, when they vanished?

I also found it interesting that he was slashing tires in February of 2017, but stopped working the following month due to a herniated disc. When did his four months avec sursis begin? Does avec sursis mean house arrest in France? Or just suspended?

RSBM

Did he go to prison? Was he released and had to spend a part of his conviction at home with an ankle monitor? Was he (n)ever convicted to time in prison and was this changed at a later moment in the end to the same time with an ankle monitor?

:gaah: I have no idea because the text is unclear. Something ended with him having to wear an ankle monitor, but whether that was his trial or his time in prison is a mystery to me.

But whatever it may be - the idea of the ankle bracelet is that you remain where you are. Maybe you get a few hours off so you can go shopping and to the dentist. That kind of thing. But not for getting into the car and visit family or friends in another area. That would be unheard of. Or perhaps we will hear this now.

I am surprised that he would be a suspect or even a POI in the case of Coralie Moussu. IMHO he was locked up, and if he was at home with an ankle bracelet, wouldn't it be surreal if he turned up at a family meeting, with or without ankle monitor?

Dear French reporters, can you tell us what exactly happened with the prison time and the ankle monitor? Do dig deeper.

The cases of Coralie Moussu (6 November 2009), Nicholas Suppo (15 September 2010) and Adrien Fiorello (6 October 2010) depend to a great extent on it. They all disappeared on weekdays, during daytime.

Avec sursis means suspended, with a period of probation. Various conditions may apply.

Didn't stop him from, say, dealing drugs though .....

The wording is always so ambiguous though, so I am still unsure. IMO, he never did any prison time.

In the thread about the jihadist attack on the church of Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray, I found this about the electronic bracelet in France:

https://www.websleuths.com/forums/s...nt-Etienne-du-Rouvray&p=12715283#post12715283

Fitted with an electronic bracelet, Adel K. can only leave home in the morning on weekdays between 8.30 am and 12.30 pm. A window of time during which, on Tuesday, July 26, he was able to put his threat into action in the church of Saint-Étienne-du-Rouvray.

https://www.websleuths.com/forums/s...nt-Etienne-du-Rouvray&p=12713037#post12713037

After 10mos in jail, again under house arrest. Had to stay w family, allowed out 8:30am-12:30pm during week, 2pm-6pm on weekends/holidays.
Also had to report once a week to the police, prove he was active professionally, couldn’t leave the region, hand over his passport and ID.

This person was living almost next to the church and he had planned that specific attack.

If Nordahl Lelandais had a similar regime, I wonder how he might be involved in the disappearance of:

Coralie Moussu (in the morning from her home in Vénéjean, 275 kms from Chambéry),
Nicholas Suppo (at mid-day from Echirolles, 65 kms from Chambéry) and
Adrien Fiorello (phone last pinged in the late afternoon in Chambéry, would have been seen in bars there in the evening )

Going back to post #616, if you go to that link, it shows Nordahl started his dog training business in Chambéry in February 2010, so I guess he wasn't in prison then? Was he wearing an electronic bracelet at the time?

Nordahl's business can be placed near the Chambéry train station starting in 2010. According to Google Maps, it is only 550 meters away: a 7 minute walk, or a 3 minute drive. The Chambéry train station was said to be the last location where Adrien Fiorello's phone pinged.

LELANDAIS NORDAHL, Physical Person, started his activity in February 2010.

The head office of this company was located 317 rue Nicolas Parent - 73000 Chambery

Maybe there are records from the Court? Judge agreeing with a request from Nordahl L. who wants to be allowed to take off his ankle bracelet 24/7in order to walk and train the dogs?

This is the best I can come up with. Total bafflement.

Found a reporter who is on the case and on twitter too and asked the question about NL being in prison when CM disappeared.

I hope he will answer ... might ask him more about the prison and the ankle bracelet. But not everybody who is on twitter is also active on twitter, many use it only as an automatic link.

:waiting:

No reaction from the reporter.

However, a helpful twitter user called me someone who doesn't know WTF for not being aware that NL did not go to prison at all and spend all his time with an ankle bracelet.

I googled NL + bracelet électronique and indeed, some sources MSM are clear about this.

Still unclear though WHEN that started, WHAT the conditions were and how long it took ~ right from the conviction of 30 months in April 2009 up to the moment when he was pardoned in October 2010?

Based on the current rules (law of 2014, rules in 2009 and 2010 may have been different!) it is possible to be obliged to spend the evening and night at home (19.00 hrs to 08.00 hrs), but to be free during the day for work, education, medical treatment an 'family life'.

from my timeline:

At the end of April 2009, he was sentenced to 30 months in prison, 12 of which were closed for burglary and burning a year earlier, along with others, a restaurant on Lake Paladru in northern Isère. He was released on parole in October 2010.

and my question: Wondering "what" day he was released, as Adrien was killed; was he anxious to kill again on the 6th?

Have you found an actual "date" when he was released, Adrien was killed on Oct. 6th?

Found nothing new, no dates and got no answer from the reporter.

In 2010, Nordahl Lalandais

was in prison from .... to ... ?
was somewhere with an ankle monitor from ... to .... ?
registered the start of his dog training company in Chambéry in February
became depressed and passed a while in the psychiatric hospital in Chambéry OR was an out-patient from ... to ... ?

IMHO we will have to wait for the official answers in all three cases of Coralie Moussu, Nicholas Suppo and Adrien Fiorello. French authorites were pretty quick with excluding NL in the case of Estelle Mouzin.
