Very roughly it seems to say radicals may;

Drop old friends as they're impure

Reject family

Change eating habits

Drop out of school

Stop listening to music

Stop going to the cinema

Stop swimming if it's mixed sexes

Change clothing styles (especially females)

Hang out on radical/extreme websites

My worry about this kind of advice is that it's been recognized in plenty of people who are turning radical before, but what do you do? Report someone to family?Police? Intelligence? And what can any of them do? None of the things above are against the law...

Partial list from lengthy US guidelines.

http://www.nationalterroralert.com/suspicious-activity/

"Unusual Interest in High Risk or Symbolic Targets

Maybe you are at a high profile location or, perhaps a National Monument and you notice a person nearby taking several photos. That’s not unusual. But then you notice that the person is only taking photos of the locations surveillance cameras, entrence crash barriers and access control procedures. Is that normal for a tourist? Not.

The following should cause a heightened sense of suspicion:

suspicious or unusual interest
surveillance (suspicious in nature)
inappropriate photographs or videos
note-taking
drawing of diagrams
annotating maps
using binoculars or night vision devices

Unusual or suspicious activity does not necessarily mean that terrorist activity is happening, but be aware of the following suspicious behaviors:

Individuals acting furtively and suspiciously
Individuals avoiding eye contact
Individuals departing quickly when seen or approached
Individuals in places they don’t belong
A strong odor coming from a building or vehicle
An overloaded vehicle
Fluid leaking from a vehicle, other than the engine or gas tank
Over dressed for the type of weather"

"Let them eat cake"! .:D

If anyone in France can resist both the cakes and baguettes, they must be in need of help. Or be catwalk models.

Seriously though, I do wonder what 'changes' extremists may make in their eating habits, that are different from traditional Islam? I'm sure baguettes aren't banned under jihad, even though one is shown on the sign.

Ooh - or could it be? It's leavened bread.

Usually they send those tapes to Aljazeera, no other mainstream media interested as this material very graphic.
Aljazeera has become less radical lately, has turned down such offers (refuse to air them)

MEANWHILE, IN BELGIUM ...

.... a student was severely beaten after a disagreement about CharlieHebdo

HLN.BE reports
http://www.hln.be/hln/nl/957/Binnen...eengeslagen-na-ruzie-over-Charlie-Hebdo.dhtml

Translation:

A discussion about the attack on Charlie Hebdo has led to severe aggression in Anderlecht. A student of 20, Amadou B., was beaten because he refused to sign a petition that demands the resignation of a history teacher. This teacher had said that criticism of the drawings in Charlie Hebdo was no valid reason to murder people.

Younes B - a pupil from the sixth year auto mechanics - disagreed and started the petition. Earlier he had already proclaimed that he wanted to shake "the hand of the perpetrators". 18 students signed his petition, but Amadou B. refused. Thereupon on Thursday after school he was beaten with a baseball bat by more than ten perpetrators. He was rushed to the hospital with severe head injuries.
Police are investigating the case.

I would like to see that petition. What it says about the teacher, and how.

From the same article:

The house denounced all acts of terrorism and urged the government to intensify its efforts in achieving the goals set in the National Action Plan in order to eliminate the scourge of terrorism from the country.

The offer for head money was made later during 'the proceedings':

“I had already declared that I will not tolerate any attack on the sanctity of the Holy Prophet (pbuh),” said Bilour.

These people are insane.

Unfortunately, they are not. They are followers of a certain ideology who do not accept any other law but their own.

It looks like all of them might be wearing eye-makeup, imo, if so, would it be to make eyes difficult to be identified , or like football players, to diminish sun glare? Also, why is everyone with noses covered and female's more exposed? speculation, moo.

If a big part of the belief system is that females should be modest and covered up, what is with the bikini?
Would pics. of the poi wearing the bathing suit, and widely published, be an embarrassment to her now, or seen as an enticement to new recruits? imo.

The bikini is from pre-Islam era.....though the bikini with the burqa would make an interesting photo ....

'Thousands of British Muslims gathered near Downing Street to protest against cartoons showing the prophet Muhammad and voice opposition to “insulting” depictions.'...

'The group also expressed “deep regret” at the Paris terror attacks, which included a massacre at Charlie Hebdo, saying they were a “violation of Islamic law”.'...

'It calls for “global civility” and says the production of cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad are “an affront to the norms of civilised society”.'...

In my opinion, they'd have been better off protesting the burning of a human being in the name of their religion, rather than the 'misuse' of cartoons.

Also....I'm guessing the female followers of Islam don't agree with the protestors, as none appear to have attended. It's all men.

They allowed women, but organizers explained women & men were kept separated 'out of respect' (??)
I guess women were kept somewhere in back row & this is London 2015!!!

Someone posted this photo on twitter mocking protest
