What's interesting to me is that I remember when that one jailhouse visit tape was released (the one where KC has a meltdown and can't swallow and makes fun of her mom crying). It was later than the first ones, and IIRC, it came about because JB accused the pros of holding it back from the media, even though it was just some kind of administrative oversight. Apparently he did not have a clue that KC's behavior would come across as so loathsome that he now claims it has been used to vilify her in the media. Because I clearly remember him accusing the state of withholding it. How could he not have seen that people would have had a field day with it?

After that tape was released JB did a 180 and fought to have all video suppressed. What a lack of perception and foresight on his part from the beginning.

Cindy is leveled to the floor, emotionally and physically and little Miss Casey is letting her have it, is is painful to watch. PAINFUL.[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xCpCinUYFwY&feature=player_embedded[/ame][ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wYYpdaTK7KQ&feature=player_embedded[/ame]

I haven't felt sorry for Cindy in a long time, but here she is a lost, hurting Grandmother, begging Casey to help them.It is humbling. If the jury sees these, it is over. God bless Mrs. Drane-Burdick tomorrow!!!

Yes it is truly appalling and painful is the best way to describe it. It's like watching a video of what 'evil' is.

A three ring circus and a whole bunch of defense clowns getting out of a tiny car is what I expect to see. Please Judge, stop this madness. JUSTICE FOR CAYLEE.

Bold is mine-

it does. I can't even begin to tell you how curious I am about how Cindy was raised.

Wow, now that question pops up in my mind all the time! Must have been a screwed up situation for her to come out being this way? :waitasec::twocents: I'll give ya a penny for my thoughts!

(hadn't noticed this post before) Great one!

IMO Cindy is also dependent on Casey's "problems" keeping her from doing something about her own personal demons... the ones that live inside of her. If we surround ourselves with people who are sicker than us we don't realize the extent our own issues so we are fooled into thinking we are healthy.. it feels healthier to be someone elses victim rather than our own. It's always someone elses issue, always... it's the only way she can tell herself that she is OK inside. She's George's "victim" too and she'll forever throw his past mistakes in his face no matter what he does to try and make up for it.

IMO This woman needed Casey just as much, if not more, than Casey needed her... and she needed the sick Casey. Without Casey and George who's victim could she be? She gives everything all the time they give next to nothing, always (even her mother sees that!)! She defines herself by her relationships... by what she gives to and does for others. I think it's very sad that she does not seem to even expect love from anyone- a person loving her for who she is not what she can give them or be to them!

She really really needs help and I pray she gets it so she can be happy if even for only a few years. What happens after the celebrity status she has gained from all this dries up? When her mind starts having time to wander and wonder, ya know?

Anyway, I'll shut up now! LOL

Once again, OLG, you are spot on! I do so enjoy your comments and insights. You are very helpful when I attempt to understand this very sick family. Thank you!!

I so agree, it certainly is a painful video to watch!

I noticed at times, there seemed to be some competition between KC and Cindy as to who was having the hardest time!!

I am going to go to bed early hoping tomorrow I will see Justice for Caylee in action with a sword of truth to cut through all the lies and deception.

Haven't seen this in a while, but upon watching it again I'm struck most by the glib opening remark, "Why is she crying already?" (in other words, I haven't even said anything sad yet...)
A beloved, dependent 2-year-old has been missing for over 2 months, and the girlie opens with this? A sure sign of something very, very wrong, imo. This needs to be over. Soon.

@ 3.58 Cindy doesn't seem to like that Casey wants to speak with George and not her. She pouts and pouts and then at about 3.28 she finally has had enough and literally takes the phone away from George's ear.

I predict that on the check fraud charges, SS will not drop any. According the the legal information that has been posted here over the last several months, what she is charged with is not double jeopardy.

I predict that on the unconstitutionality of the death penalty, that too will be dismissed or whatever you call it. Florida's death penalty laws have been this way for a very long time and have not been proven unconstitutional before and I am sure that many have tried.
I've been following this case from the beginning but have never joined a forum or put my opinion out there, so bare with me! First of all, in my opinion Casey is guilty as sin and deserves to be punished severely for her crime. The thing that worries me about the death penalty is that if a juror is against the death penalty, they will vote not guilty so she doesn't get the death penalty. Then that psychotic loser of a mom could possibly be walking the streets again. Correct me if I'm wrong please, because I'm by no means an expert on legal motions and trials. I just don't want ANYTHING getting in the way of her suffering for the rest of her life for what she did to that precious little girl...

In FL in capital cases, the jury has to be death qualified - meaning they have to be willing to impose the penalty if need be.

I guess there could always be someone who lied about that but I think it isnt likely.

In addition, a death qualified jury is more likely to convict even if they end up not imposing the DP.

But even so it doesnt really seem likely she would walk - proably end her entire life behind bars - if you go through the RH legal threads there is some good speculations especially at the beginning of thread #1

because some posters do fear she may walk, and it is possible, no one can know what those particular jurors may decide..

As I was explaining to my 15 year old son yesterday, KC's biggest mistake besides murdering her daughter was not sounding the alarm right away - that 31 days with no concern is going to be nearly impossible to leap over - even for the hearts that bleed more than mine that feel sure it was a covered up accident.
