Amber Alert: 5-month-old boy missing in Ga.

Police in Georgia issued an Amber Alert for a young child Thursday.

Noah Singleton is 5 months old, black with brown hair and brown eyes. The suspect in the abduction is 24-year-old Emmanuel Singleton, a black male with brown hair and eyes.

Police said the mother was a victim of a stabbing, according to media reports. Emmanuel Singleton is the child’s non-custodial father, WSB reported.

Police believe they may be traveling in a gray 2007 Volkswagen Jetta, Georgia license plate RVD6200.

Anyone with information was asked to contact the Clarkston Police Department at 678-406-7929 or call 911.

I know, my heart sunk when I read the mother had been stabbed. I hope she is still alive and I pray this little one comes home safe

UPDATE ON AMBER ALERT:

The entire department has been extremely busy attempting to locate a 5 month old child who was abducted from his mother's apartment after a violent domestic incident this afternoon.

The child has been located safe and unharmed with a family member. The suspect and stolen vehicle have not been located.

Thank you to all that assisted to include our officers, command staff, CID, DeKalb Police, Conyers Police and Rockdale County Sheriff's Office. The community also assisted with numerous tips and information which they were able to locate.
