Found Safe GA - Abigail Toeneboehn, 22, Austell, 25 Feb 2021

Abi and I have quite a few friends in common, she seems like a lovely rider who was committed. Not likely to leave, especially if she was trying a new horse. It doesn’t appear the barn was in Ocala or Wellington for the winter, so more people should have been around. Barn’s horses seem to be mid to high five figures, so nice, but not the six figure winners.
Was committed but isn’t any longer? If so, why? If not, why use past tense.

Respectfully snipped, underlined, and BBM for clarification.[/QUOTE]

Earlier I said I suspect a clear digital trail but I wasn’t thinking about her phone being left behind. Now I’m wondering if someone who knows the girls live there caused the horses to make noises in order to get one of the girls outside alone. Very scary.

@UnapologeticallyAspie, I also use past tense to describe someone who I think is involuntarily missing. If I suspect the person to be voluntarily missing, I think of them in the present tense. In my mind it makes sense, unfortunately.

Same here. While it is not technically correct to refer to her in past tense, I suspect that’s what the editors/writer meant by using it in this context.

Leaving behind keys, wallet AND cellphone was so concerning indeed. Glad she has been found safe. Best wishes for her future.

Wow - that's great news, but quite frankly, very surprising given the quotes from family and friends. I hope she's really ok physically and mentally. :)

I did not expect this outcome, but delighted to hear the news.

Praying there are less confusing days ahead for this young woman. I hope her family quickly learns what made her leave with such haste, and that it wasn’t anything traumatic.

Yes, so happy but so surprised especially because of the quotes from family about important events she was missing. Hopefully some needed conversations are happening today it might seem.

Wow. I wonder what the story is. Glad she’s ok though!!

Very relieved to hear this. She had to have some means to get from GA to AL. I suspect some underlying issues.
Hope things work out for her.

Yes. It's a win when a thread ends that doesn't involve a body bag and a toe tag.

Wow. I’m so very surprised and so very happy. Young adulthood is very tricky on a good day. And then there’s this thing called a pandemic. Hang in there, girl. Hold onto the reins.
