Something seems off here. Why would this woman be naked from the waist down if she died of natural causes? That is really strange.

It sure has the town buzzing Bobbi. It just makes no sense. This Walmart is huge and busy.

Perhaps she was doing drugs with a male friend and then overdosed? He drove her car and left her body there to be found?

This is just my opinion but her car was very clean and looked new. I doubt she was homeless and living out of her car.

Of course there is so many rumors going around so who really knows the truth. But from what I have heard this woman lived right up the road from Walmart, which is in a very nice neighborhood.

All I can think of is she was with someone and may have been given too many drugs and she overdosed and they moved her to the parking lot at Walmart.

If she had a heart attack, stroke or other medical problems that would cause death then the would have been able to ascertain that in the autopsy imo.

So imo, they saw nothing that showed natural causes so they are looking at the toxicology aspect of it.

I hope that they find out what happened to her and can put this community's mind at ease about whether she was attacked or not.

The media reported she was nude from the waist down, the poster on topix said it was the waist up. Either way, it was an odd way to be found deceased.

What is also strange is she was supposed to have been dead for 10 hours.

This Super Walmart is busy constantly all during the day and is open 24 hours a day.

I remember many years ago there was a murder in the parking lot of a few minutes from my house and no one noticed that there was a deceased woman who had been stabbed to death in the car for over 21 hours. Furthermore she was stabbed while the mall was still open so someone could have seen it. This was during Christmas time so presumably very busy. Sometimes people are just so wrapped up in their own situations they notice what's going on around them.

It's very odd that the woman was partially nude and yet investigators don't believe any foul play is involved.

Autopsy results have yielded few viable clues for investigators working to determine why a 58-year-old Albany woman, who was found in the back seat of a car at a Wal-Mart parking lot
Wednesday, died.

The body of Joyce Hutchinson was autopsied by forensic pathologists Thursday with no definitive determination of cause or manner of death, Lee County Sheriff Reggie Rachals said.

“We’re going to have to wait on the tox (toxicology) results before we know more,” he said.

Deputies responded to the retail center’s parking lot on Ledo Road around 1:30 Wednesday afternoon after a shopper discovered the body lying in the back seat of an older model Saturn sedan.

GBI Special Agent-in-Charge Danny Jackson said at the scene Wednesday that there didn’t appear to be any obvious signs of trauma — an observation backed up by the preliminary findings of Thursday’s autopsy.

Jackson said that it appeared Hutchinson was living out of her car.

Jackson said that although Hutchinson’s body was discovered nude from the waist-down, the autopsy revealed no evidence of sexual assault.

I guess we can say now that she didn't have some type of attack while being sexually attacked? That had crossed my mind.

Could she have had something mentally wrong with or been on some sort of drugs that would make her take her pants off in (relative) public? Guess we won't know until the tox screen comes back.

I agree although it may not explain why a woman would strip from her waist down to sleep in the back seat of a very public parking lot.

That is truly the mind boggling part of this.

Police constantly go through the parking lot even at night.

But if the security tapes are there it should show when the car was driven in and parked. LE said she had been dead for about 10 hours.

As for her not having pants on, well maybe they were about to have sex and she OD'ed?
If she had been dead for 10 hours, maybe the person she was with took off her pants in an attempt to put her in a tub of cold water, although i don't know why they wouldn't leave her underwear on.
I really think she overdosed while about to have sex with someone. They got scared, ditched her body and car at Walmart.

I have no idea whether this woman was on drugs etc......... However, it has been documented (many times) that people who are high on meth. often remove their clothing. They remove their clothing for no ryhme or reason. Again, this woman may not have been invloved in drugs etc......... but, I thought I would put the meth. info. out there.
