I don't think this is him but there is another case which I believe he may be the victim in. The victim in that case was suspected to possibly have ties to the Hispanic community in metro-Atlanta and Ohio.

They have a candidate for who he could be now but can't find family to confirm. If the facial recon helped them in making a potential match then they probably have a picture of him. I wonder why they didn't release that?

A man with the same name was arrested in Gwinnett County GA in January 2009, a few months before the body was found, after he was pulled over for a traffic violation and they found $1 million in cash in his car. Same guy?

(I also found a Mexican national with the same name whose wife attempted to divorce him in absentia in Louisiana in 2014 because she thought he dipped without telling anybody and went back to Mexico, but I think he probably isn't the same man).
