I’m not sure I understand your question. The other day it was spoken about, from where I don’t recall. I didn’t hear Rusty recant that but I haven’t watched it every day.

I asked upthread if she told Rusty that Gary was in the burn pile 2 days before anything was released about Gary missing. That was mentioned and I didn’t know if that was true. Still don’t.

I’m caught up in the Sarah Boone trial, otherwise I would know more about Farris.

Didn't she have one in the dash and one in her purse? Her lies about them were hilarious. Even in the face of being told that DNA would provide the whole story.

Yes, he told LE that's what she said on July 3, before anyone discovered the body. In a jail call, Melody said Rusty singlehandedly hanged her with that statement.
So, he recanted it.
But that made it worse.

Oh, man, in a recorded call, Rusty confronts her about when she said "he's on the burn pile". And he asks her if she was covering for her kids. She said yes. But it's clear from the whole conversation that she would NEVER cover for her kids about anything.

Rusty stated he met Melody in 1975 at the wedding between his father and Martha Jane.

Martha Jane and Melody's late mother are first cousins. That makes Martha Jane and Melody first cousins once removed (not second cousins as stated in the trial).

Possibly shows guilt because she knew GF was on the burn pile prior to discovery of GF being out there.

Jurors will use their common sense and put two and two together.
