Sorry, this is off-topic, but is anyone following the trial of Chloe A Driver for the murder of her 13 month old? Simply asking here as it's also a Cherokee Co GA trial (as was Melody's case). I can't find a thread but I know that in Dec 2020 the stabbing was discussed here on WS. 'Would love to know more about this case... and would love help finding a link to the original story here. TIA!

I just remember the earliest news reports that I read here on WS didn't have her name nor her daughter's name mentioned. Since she nor the child's father were the home owners it might have been difficult for reporters to gather specific info. That's just what I remember (which could be slightly faulty)

Interesting case. She has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity.

In opening statements, prosecutors said Driver was one of three women married to Benyamin Ben-Michaeil (AKA Brian Joyce), who lived a nomadic and religious, polygamist lifestyle. Driver’s defense said those beliefs, coupled with mental illness, led Driver to psychosis that resulted in the death of her daughter.

Chloe Driver was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after being found guilty but mentally ill in the death of her daughter, Hannah.

I've already tried that. Impossible feat as I do not believe the name of the mother and child were listed in the early news reports here on WS. It doesn't matter. I apologize for derailing this thread.

Court TV is reporting that Melody wants to speak today.
She's emotional this morning.
This case has been hard for me, because I still feel that there was RD, but the jury made their decision. They saw more than I did while sitting in front of my computer and watching the trial on TV. It's just sad, and there are no winners here.

MF says scott killed his father.wow....MF had a lot to say about things scott did and things she saw of his movements. He failed polygraph test. She is telling a whole different scenario of what happened. Judge admonished her but is going to let her finish and then let the state question her. Never saw this before. If she had taken the stand I guess this would have been her story. I'm going to have to rewatch all this.....
