Tift County resident Crystal Hendrix vanished on or around March 8th of this year. The 27-year-old was eight months pregnant at the time of her disappearance. Tift County Sheriff Gene Scarbrough fears the worst, and says several questions are still unanswered.

He said "the person that she was living with, he never reported her missing and when we questioned him about it you know she left with some guy so that doesn't add up."

The sheriff says her last known address was at 456 Urbana Road where she lived with her boyfriend Shawn Lily and their two young children.

Mathew Lily is Shawn's brother. He said "this is putting a lot of stress on them kids and my brother. I mean wherever she's at she needs to come out."

After searching with helicopters and dogs to no avail, the sheriff has upped the ante. He said "I put out a personal reward of five hundred dollars leading to the location of Crystal and her child. Hopefully that will spur people to come forward for that reward, hopefully that will get somebody to come forward. Somebody out there knows something."

Lily went on to say "if there is something wrong with her, yeah we would like to know but I mean the only thing we really know is she just left."

The Tift County Sheriff’s Office is conducting an investigation into a missing person report on Crystal Lynne Wilier Hendrix.

Hendrix is described as a white female, age 27, 5’3” in height. She has brown hair and hazel eyes. As far as investigators have been able to determine Hendrix was last seen on or about March 8th, 2013.

Hendrix was residing at 456 Urbana Road in Tift County at the time she was last seen.

Tift County Sheriff Gene Scarbrough is asking that anyone with any information on Hendrix, please contact the Sheriff’s Office at 229-388-6021.

Sheriff Scarbrough is personally offering a $500 reward for information leading to the location of Crystal Hendrix.

Sgt. Jason Barber is the investigator assigned to this case.

The man who did not report her missing needs to be in the station answering questions and taking polygraphs UNTIL he comes up with some answers.

At the time of her disappearance, Crystal was 8 months pregnant and was last seen at a doctor's appointment in Tifton. The search team is using five cadaver dogs hoping they can lead them to Crystal.

"If she is dead and has been dead for two months, there's not much of an odor left and it's more difficult for the dogs to pick up her scent." said Sheriff Gene Scarbrough.

The four teams started at 8 a.m. Thursday searching the fields and ponds around her home on 456 Urbana Road in Omega.

The sheriff says no one reported Crystal missing for two months. Crystal's mother filed a missing person's report earlier this month. Investigators believe someone knows what happened and where Crystal is.

"This is a humanitarian thing. We got a young lady and a baby missing. Somebody need to come forward and let the people know where she's at," Sheriff Gene Scarbrough.

So far, nothing has come up from Thursday search. The Tift County Sheriff's Office wants to find crystal as soon as possible to give her family closure.

"Her family needs to know where she's at. They need some sort of closure. So whoever did it or they know who did it, they need to come forward and give this family closure," said Sheriff Gene Scarbrough.

Was she last seen at the Urbana residence or at the doctor's appointment? If at the appt. how did she to and from there??? I assume no vehicle is missing. What about a purse, cell phone, any other belongings?

The Tift County Sheriff's Office is offering more money for information on a missing pregnant woman.

The reward is now up to $1,400 for information on Crystal Hendrix.
She was eight months pregnant when she went missing, back in March.

All the money is coming from donations.

Thr brother of her boyfriend says, "this is putting a lot of stress on them kids and my brother. I mean wherever she's at she needs to come out."

Oh yes, it's putting so much stress on your brother that he never bothered to report her missing. And his concern for his children's stress is so great that he didn't report their mother missing.

Tift County Sheriff's investigators still hope to solve the disappearance of Crystal Hendrix. The Tift County Sheriff Office is still hoping Crystal Hendrix and the baby she was carrying are alive, but after a year, it's getting harder to find her. Crystal Hendrix disappeared without a trace last March 8th. The Tift County Sheriff says the trail is going cold.
