This was my sisters best friend ,i was younger.I remember being told she was found with a broom handle lodged in her.My family always said her dad did this and i believe that.He was very strict and very mean to her.She couldn't ever go anywhere with us.I sure wish they would revisit this .She was such a sweet girl and nice to me .Seems as though a lot of things have been hidden .I also remember being told by my mom that her brother Steven was trying to tell them something ,but they couldn't understand him.But wouldn't his mother understand better what he was saying?I was afraid of both her mother and father. They are deceased now and I think it will never be solved. Why?because the killer is dead as well.I believe they know this. This was a small hush ,hush town.Things like that never happened until that day and I will never forget it.The bruising on her as she lay in that coffin were devastating to me at the age of 6.She wzs afraid of her father as well. She told me this on the school bus. There are still many people alive now that they didn't talk to .

So Sorry! So Sad! They have a lead and thats better than nothing! I cant believe there isn't DNA on the rifle used to beat her to death. You have to hold it tight with your hands to beat someone like that and not leave something is a shame. Maybe they have DNA just no suspects! If the dad did it then we know where he is so there will be justice in the next life!
