I have submitted my tip to the DeKalb County District Attorney's Office via email and I have also sent this info to the Medical Examiner.

I also sent this tip through the tip line.

It's a remarkable likeness, and Kelly is a very, very good forensic artist. The identified I've seen that she did recons of, the resemblances tend to be startlingly close. So if this turns out to be Fadum, I would not be surprised at all.

I wanted to reach out and let you know that the DeKalb County DA’s Office has received your tip and have contacted the city of New York Missing Person Unit where we were advised that their case involving Fadum Abdill was closed on 9/30/2019 due to Fadum being located. I mentioned that Fadum is still listed as missing on at least the NamUs web site. I was told that they would correct this ASAP. We here in the DA’s Office thank you for reaching out to us and providing us with this tip.

As per the email above that I received today, Fadum is not this Jane Doe. I really thought this was her, but I am glad Fadum was located!! Hopefully this recent activity on this case will get detectives searching again.

That is wonderful news. Welcome home, Fadum.

Yeah, if and when we learn this Doe's name and see her picture, I think she's going to look enough like Fadum to be a sister. Kelly's good enough at her work that I trust it as a likeness. It was just a quirk of fate that someone that looked that much like her was also listed as missing in roughly the same area of the US at the right time.

NamUs has been updated as of 2.3.2025 and there is now unique physical features. It appears that DeKalb Co Jane Doe (2023) has fractures on her ribs on the right side as well as a compress vertebra that has bone growth. I guess she had some injuries before she was a UID.

Other distinctive physical characteristic - Healed fractures on the 5th and 6th ribs on the right side
Other distinctive physical characteristic - The first lumbar vertebra seems to have been compressed premortem and has some bone growth around the injury.

EDIT: I noticed that her listing now mentions a yellow heart shaped earring in the clothing and accessories section.

Interesting that the jeans were introduced in the fall of 2018 because I came here to suggest a MP who went missing around that time.

Did you perchance think of Tareaha Lanae Jones? If so, she might be a good match imo, too.
If I understood the article about the jeans correctly, they were available in stores starting on March 1st and in the Fall of 2018 Walmart made upgrades and remodeling of their apparel sections and stores. So it would be possible for her to be this UID. If you look at her pictures, in the last one she can be seen with purple or maybe magenta hair, which bears a close resemblance to the sketch. According to NamUs the remains were fully skeletonized, so maybe there was no trace left of the MP's tattoos.

I don't know if this helps at all, but I was looking into her bracelets, and I believe that the chain like one is a "Chewbeads Stanton", a chewable bracelet that moms can wear and their baby can teeth on. They also seem to be used as "Chewlery" for those with sensory issues who like to chew on things.
