Crane was another colorful witness...with quite the gift of gab. He seemed to have inserted himself into this IMO. At some points, he calls Tex an old friend who he was trying to help, and at other times a client, although he claimed he did this gratis. This was only his word, and to me, it seemed like he wanted to clear himself of the whole AJC article(s) mess. Who knows what the real story is.

Interesting...he is a long time friend of Dani Jo, even waving to her in court while testifying (bizarre). He and her husband go way back...they were frat brothers together.

Crane was a joke of a witness...so full of himself as a media person..waving to Dani Jo...waving to the cameras...thinking some jurors knew him (they did not) and on and on....a total flop of a witness and as usual Samuels used him to benefit Tex.

*Trial continues (Day 16) (@ 9am ET) - GA - Diane McIver (63) (Sept. 25, 2016) - Claud "Tex" Lee McIver III (74/now 76) arrested (12/14/16) charged (4/27/17) with malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and 3 counts of influencing witnesses and bribery. Pled not guilty.
3/30/18: April 9th or 10th Pros will rest and then the Defense will begin.
