According to Roswell Police, Edina Karagic's whereabouts since May 2016 are unknown.

This is strange. Just reporting now and has been seen since May 2016 and really no details.

I found some public records of arrests in Catoosa County under this name and mugshots appear to be the same woman. Arrests in March, Oct, Nov of 2010 for things like drug possession, forgery, probation violation. Also, looking at one of the addresses noted in her arrests, there seems to be a male with a considerable arrest record tied to the address as well. Very little other info out there about her. I have to wonder a few things.. 1. Was she from another country and in the US with very few close contacts, which could explain how long this has gone unreported? 2. Was she incarcerated through May 2016 and potentially skipped town after release? 3. Could she be going by another name, maybe to avoid the law? 4. Are police looking for her because they're concerned for her safety, or because they are pursuing her as part of an investigation?

All my opinion and speculation.

I have to say that her name alone points to Bosnian ancestry. I'm not sure if she was born here or not, but I'm 99% sure she is Bosnian. Every Bosnian friend I have ever met tells me that if a surname ends in "ic" most likely they are Bosnian. Hope that helps. It's very suspicious that they say she has been missing since May of 2016 and it's now almost March of 2017. Coming on a year now....I don't like it.
