I’ll never understand this. So many ppl would’ve taken this baby, loved him, raised him, given him a great life.

A terrible story has gotten worse. Baby Nnakai’s mother, Necolette Pratt faces obstructing an officer, false statements and party to the commission of a crime charges. She’s been arrested and Nnakai’s twin sister is now in the custody of Department of Family and Children Services.

RIP Baby Nnakai

Police scheduled to speak about Clayton County baby's death

The infant was a twin and his surviving sister has been placed in the custody of child welfare authorities, with police saying they were investigating if the mother had any role in the boy's death.

An earlier version of this story said the dead child has a twin brother. His twin is a sister.

Like you, I'm wondering WHO saw him last and at what time/date, and also who reported him missing. A child that age would likely have been reported missing by either (1) parent, either full time or part time custodial (2) legal guardian or (3) caregiver (babysitter). I could see a sitter not knowing the weight, but the parents should have been able to clarify and correct that immediately. I can not fathom a situation where a child was missing where the parent(s) wouldn't have ensured police had current and correct inforamation as to a physical description to find their child.
He was last seen with his dad, who claimed he was taken in an armed robbery while they were in the car. (Nnankai in the passenger seat). The dad has already been taken into custody for a few other things (One of them was child restraint violation, can't recall the others off the top of my head.), and has been named as the prime suspect from inconsistentcies in his story. I just read this article, and it appears that the father has seven charges for/relating to Nnankai's death, and the Mom has been taken into custody too. (D: Antonio Pearce, M: Necolette Pratt)

I am curious if his twin sissy showed signs of abuse or neglect when taken into care. It would give is a clue as to whether the children had been chronically abused/neglected or if the death of this sweet boy was the result of a single incident.

Per Clayton County LE, little Nnakai died from blunt trauma, and was found in a trash bag.
Under the jail, please.
IMO.
