This is going to be one of the most challenging twisted cases perhaps at WS for some time MOO
Yup. It's got some intrigue to it.

@asleuther Cost of this fifth wheel RV?Looks like this is how they arrived at the convention. Pretty fancy set up. How much does one of these campers cost? From the Vega Soul Infusion FB page....Log In or Sign Up to View
This is a piece with many details on Rhoden’s previous arrests including at Atlanta airport in 2020 prior to boarding flight to LA with $19,500 of suspected drug money:
2 golf course shooting victims were bound, gagged in truck bed, warrant says
Not discreet behavior post triple murder. Doesn’t seem like the sharpest person to do this if there was a grand plan.Fake tags, no insurance, expired registration, 2 fake drivers licenses driving a crappy Maserati with broken lights.
LE saying he wasn't a threat doesn't make any sense at all. Clearly they hadn't identified BR, at the time they let him bail out of the Chamblee jail on the DUI charges. Not discreet behavior post triple murder. Doesn’t seem like the sharpest person to do this if there was a grand plan.
Wondering about police insisting he wasn’t a threat. This was strange to everyone who didn’t know he was in jail. How did they know so soon that he was a suspect? This story mentions his airport incident last year and “according to court papers, another agency tipped them off about Rhoden’s suspected drug activity.”
Who is Bryan Rhoden, the suspect accused of a triple murder at a Cobb County country club?

Do you think they just said that, for sake of not scaring the public? That's pretty concerning.
I've seen quite a bit of online speculation that he's a hit man but no way would a hit man be that sloppy. Not discreet behavior post triple murder. Doesn’t seem like the sharpest person to do this if there was a grand plan.

I've heard it enough in cases sometimes I think it's just standard.LE saying he wasn't a threat doesn't make any sense at all. Clearly they hadn't identified BR, at the time they let him bail out of the Chamblee jail on the DUI charges.

He's been let off by LE so much it's almost like he was working for them.snipped

That or maybe his parents have money and/or are well connected? He grew up in Smyrna and at one point did go on to be a college student at GSU. Hard to believe no repurcussions for shooting a person in the chest as a college student. Can we tell from the criminal records if he was represented by a public defender or a private attorney for the chest shooting case when he was 18?He's been let off by LE so much it's almost like he was working for them.
Remember Whitey Bulger, running the Boston Winter Hill Gang while he was an FBI informant? His FBI agent handler told him he was about to be arrested and he amazingly "disappeared" for 16 years with his girlfriend to beautiful Santa Monica.
Maybe something crazy like that.
It just makes no sense he was never convicted for anything except speeding once in Indiana, if that, maybe it was dropped too.

Not sure he came from that kind of money, the kind needed for this stuff.

Regarding GSU case being sealed:
“Strickler said there are a few reasons court records can be sealed.
The accused could be cooperating with authorities, or they could be part of a larger criminal investigation.”
He also was said to have assaulted an officer at the airport and had to forfeit drug money more than once. Yet nothing on his record.
The case was sealed so no court papers to see a lawyers name, it is filed as “nolle prossequi"-"legal Latin meaning "to be unwilling to pursue".That or maybe his parents have money and/or are well connected? "There’s some shrubbery around here and that’s where we found the Glock 40 caliber and the almost pound of marijuana,” said Mullis. “It looks like he was the seller because the drugs were in his bag.
Police have charged Flournoy with aggravated assault, attempted murder and possession of a firearm on campus.
Rhoden has not been formally charged yet, but police believe he'll face the same thing and probably something related to the drugs
ETA: along with everything else, he was selling an underweight pound, probably took some for himself after he got it from his supplier
Ahh, that makes sense, if he was an informant giving LE info on bigger criminals up the chain. How in the world did he get Bruce Harvey to represent him this time? A big case like this will be $$$. Even if he could afford the $25K retainer....
Yes, I remember this case! Yes, I will not be surprised if we soon hear that Rhoden has new or no representation.Maybe he’ll end up like this other guy who hired Harvey. Starts off like he can afford him to make a show and then he ends up with no one. Kenndric Roberts, a man charged with human trafficking out of a home in a residential neighborhood (Diamond Kitty case) hired Harvey in 2017. Fast forward to 2019 and he was representing himself. Not sure what happened to him.

Age 23. It will disgust me to no end if Rhoden has been able to avoid charges on his previous crimes if he is, indeed, an "informant". At what point does that end?
I guess, when he is involved in a triple homicide.
