"Both suspects are repeat felons, police say"

and

"The unrelated acts of violence Tuesday afternoon rattled the city before the two suspects were taken into custody; One had been arrested 11 times and the other 19, police said. Both have felony convictions on their records."

Long felony records and still running around loose wreaking havoc. Unbelievable. It's the same thing here in California. Hopeless.

where was the second suspect? I only saw them arrest one person

The second suspect was from a different crime the same day, a shooting in a food court downtown. The food court shooting and the bus hijacking are separate incidents not connected to each other.

A lot of LE in Atlanta and the suburbs had a very busy day.

This is an article about the food court shooting:

Maybe no connection. But person who was arrested for bus hijacking and murder was seen on camera arguing with someone at the separate/different crime location of a downtown food court shooting that same day. (A different person has been arrested in the food court shooting.)

Fyi, Joseph Grier has been arrested for the bus murder and hijacking.

"According to the GBI, Grier was engaging with passengers on the bus and got into an argument with another man. The other passenger, identified on the warrants as Earnest Byrd, pulled out a gun. Grier then took the gun from Byrd and started to threaten passengers with it.

Grier then shot Byrd in the leg with his own gun and ordered the bus driver to drive away, according to the GBI."
