Keara Cotton is in custody charged with 2 counts of Cruelty to Children. Jayceon still missing.

I was just typing about: Does she work, where are her friends? What has she been doing for "months" Someone must have seen him but I couldn't get my words right so I deleted and saw your post.

Do they ever say specifically the last time the boy was seen? Like an exact month? I saw “several” but that doesn’t narrow anything down? Was the mother dating anyone “several” months ago? Does the mother suffer from any form of addiction? Who was she hanging out with around the time of the last siting of the child? Did the mother take any trips with her boyfriend or friends around that time?

Another one!!! I can’t believe there are so many cases like this, it saddens and angers me. Hoping for a good outcome even though it doesn’t look good.

A report was filed on January 20 and authorities had been unsuccessful for several days trying to find Cotton.

Late Monday, the GBI announced that Cotton had been located and charged with 2 counts of Cruelty to Children. But her son remains missing.

Georgia Bureau of Investigation said Tuesday that Cotton's charges now include murder, concealing the death of another, and cruelty to children in the second degree.

Investigators have also received a tip that led them to a location in Cordele near E. Sixteenth Avenue where human remains were found.

Those remains have been sent to the GBI's Medical Examiner's Office to be analyzed.
