Missing Atlanta man last seen boarding a bus to church on Sunday​

Jesse Carson was last seen on Sunday, Sept. 1 when he was taking a bus to church.

The person who reported him missing said he got on the bus but failed to return home after the service.

He was last seen wearing an all-black suit.

Carson's loved ones, including his church community, handed out flyers on Thursday morning in hopes of finding any information that could lead to his whereabouts.

"Last week, I took the entire week off of work searching every area of Atlanta," Carson’s nephew, Darrow Harper said.

Carson reportedly took a bus to his church on Sept. 1, but failed to return home, which is located near Washington Street SW and Atlanta Avenue SW.

Search efforts began in the area where Carson was last seen. Surveillance footage captured him in this area, but his cellphone also pinged near a Topgolf location miles away in the northwestern part of the city.

Well, that's strange isn't it. Could he have left his cellphone on the bus?

It's 7-8 miles or a 13-19 minute drive from the area of his home to Topgolf.

Really sad when it's not even safe anymore to ride the bus to and from church! This is awful.
