Bell is 5'4", 143 pounds, has blond hair and green eyes.

Coffee County sheriff's detectives are attempting to locate 25-year-old missing person Kristian Bell.

Ms. Bell was last seen around Jan. 20 in the area of Nicholls. She is described as a white female, approximately 5'04", 143 lbs., with blonde hair and green eyes.

Family of missing woman looks for information

Trina Dewees, Kristi's best friend says, "Kristi is a very outgoing person. She speaks her mind she loves her son with all of her heart and her dad. She's an amazing person and she has an amazing heart."

Her father, Jimmy Bowden, says, "She does have a little boy and he's very special to her. Me and my mother and her brothers love her very much and she has a lot of friends that love and care for her and we all miss her."

On Thursday, detectives received a call from a woman who advised that law enforcement should focus their search in the 500 block of Deep Wood Road.

“We received a phone call yesterday from a young lady who advised us that this is the area we need to start looking in,” said Chief Deputy Fred Cole with the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office.

The Coffee County Sheriff’s Office, Georgia State Patrol, and Nicholls and Douglas Police activated the search with a helicopter and ATV crews.

Cole said foul play is not suspected and this is solely a missing persons case.

Recently, Bowen was told to go to a home on the 500 block of Deep Woods Road.

“I found my daughter’s personal belongings," he recalled. “It was very few. They were scattered on the porch and a pink suitcase.”

A place Bowen believes Bell was living with her boyfriend and two others.

As law enforcement searches high and low in that area, Bowen said he’s just holding on to hope.

Guilty verdict returned after 35 minutes of deliberation in Coffee County double murder

Christopher Lane Jones was found guilty of two counts of malice murder and two counts of concealing the death of another after the jury deliberated just 35 minutes.

Jones was then sentenced to life without the possibility of parole, followed consecutively by life without the possibility of parole, followed by another consecutive 20 years to serve in prison by Judge J. Kelly Brooks.
