Absolutely, I am sure that they have. That doesn't mean that they have "cleared" them or that they are now completely confused about what happened. A lot of times they question everybody and one person stands out... that they investigate further.

I think where they are searching is indicative of what they think happened.

If they thought it was someone from out of town that had taken her, they'd likely be looking out of the area.

If they thought Lori had taken off, they'd also likely be looking out of the area.

If they thought it was simply an intruder Lori surprised, they don't generally go to the trouble of cleaning up or removing someone from the house.

It sounds to ME like they believe this was someone in the very immediate area who would have been comfortable in the area they are looking in.

Or, they believe that Lori left to walk the property on her own and something happened while she was out there. I still think it's unlikely she would have gone far if she was in that much pain.

I really do wonder if it was actually pain...or if she was trying to alert her friend that something more was going on. If she was being held by someone trying to abduct her...and there is some lady knocking on the door... then calling... obviously Lori will have to answer the phone to say something to get the person to go away so that the abductor can leave.

I wonder if there were any extra vehicles there at that time? Or anywhere in the area? I know most people wouldn't even notice that anyway.

Does anyone know the lastest news coverage from last night, I heard the captain talked to a news station but cant find it anywhere.

Yeah that's the only thing I've seen, there's been no news updates today that I've seen. Most don't come up in a google search either, so you have to really look for them.

Nope thats not it :( it was just last night when they interviewed him but i would think it would be up by now?

Search Suspended For Missing Army Wife

After a second morning of searching, Liberty County Authorities say they have covered up to 200 acres and have nowhere else to search for 42 year old Lori Arrowood. They are suspending the official search but say if any clues turn up, they will resume the search.

Okay first off some of you need to get your facts straight. But, why can we just all ask for her return she is missed by her two daughters and her husband and friends and family. Leave the work to find out what happend to the detectives. This is from someone that knows her before bashing me thanks.

We are all hoping for her safe return, I do not think anyone here meant to disrespect her or the family.
I cannot imagine whats going through the daughters minds as well as her husband who is so far away at the moment.
as far as leaving the work to the detectives ..I dont think anyone is inserting themselves in the investigation but this is webSLEUTHS and looking for clues and helping if we can is what we do.
Again I apologize if you have been offended but I can positively say no one here would intentionally try to upset you are anyone else close to Lori.

I understand since you are close to the situation, you are very emotional about it.

If there is any facts that you would like to clarify, we would be more than happy to listen. We can only deal with the facts that we are presented with and we do our best to keep them straight. We have recently learned the horse show was a rumor, yet that is still being widely reported in the media. It is difficult to find the facts.

If you look around these message boards a bit, you will see that all anyone wants is a safe return. We are devastated when it doesn't turn out that way.

You will also notice that this is Web Sleuths. Sleuthing is what we do. The definition of a sleuth is "a detective, to trail or track as a detective." (Dictionary.com)

I know that the suggestion of anything bad happening to Lori, is not what you want to hear. I've been there with a missing family member, I understand that. We try to be respectful and mindful of the fact that family could be reading. This thread has been defensive of Lori, not offensive towards her.

You will see if you look around here a bit... when the media stops covering a story... when a case goes cold... when the community no longer has missing posters up... Web Sleuths doesn't forget.

Please know that we are not your enemy.

Please, let us know if there is anything that we can do to help Lori's family and friends. :hug:

The friend showing up and not being able to see her, then the phone call... it's very disturbing. It makes me wonder if someone was inside of the house holding her telling her to get rid of the friend. That's very strange behavior to have when someone shows up at your house.

My hopes and heart are with Jodi for a safe return. :heart: I would go insane if my mother was ever missing. Especially with information coming out like that. Her poor family.

I meant to type LORI not JODI in this post. I have no idea where my head was. Just wanted to make that correction as I can't seem to edit the post.
